Education isn’t something that can be quantified with tests I believe that education extends far beyond
the classroom walls, and involves many more people than students and teachers. People should be learning
wherever they go, and should continue learning long after they’ve or report cards, but is instead something
that people carry with them.

2.Dignity of teaching as a profession.

A good teacher shows his affection and love to his pupils and affects children in almost every way like
manners, styles and actions. This indicates how a teacher becomes a role model to his pupils. So teachers
should maintain stature and behavior that upholds dignity, good moral and professional etiquette.

1.Professional links with colleagues.

Teaching is about relationships. That’s why it’s so essential to be a good colleague. Not only will it
benefit your work, but it also will set a strong example to your students because your connections with
colleagues will play the largest role in your ability to enjoy your work and grow as a professional.

1. Professional reflection and learning to improve practice.

Professional reflection is self-focused meditation that includes visualizing where you are, where you have
been, and where you might go. This photo is taken in my first teaching in the classroom as. I remember

5.Professional development goals.

I believe that by identifying my concerns in the beginning will help me to be an effective teacher and
my students will become great achievers in their studies. This will also give me an opportunity to observe
how the students will react to these expectations that will in turn help me develop a technique for a lesson
plan. Being involved in professional development programs, seek help from other experience teachers, and
take notes. I must also listen to my students to see as teacher what I am doing wrong if they’re not learning
the subject and to understand why they are not learning. I want to meet their needs because they’re the most
important ones in the classroom.

In this picture the starting of the flag ceremony including the teachers and students and
maintenance are required to attend the flag ceremony. They have daily routine like prayer
followed by flag ceremony, Cdd hym,PVMO and dance exercise. The grade one students are
mostly enjoying the dance routine. But it was only in Tuesday morning because Monday is our
rest time in International school.

to show that guessing a word is difficult if they can do it by shortcut. But the group of Michael
Andrew is one of the most fastest and active students in terms of games. They have total points

New Year, new knowledge that awaits me. As per schedule given by Division Office we are still
on a week of observation. Since it’s a long vacation teacher Fe ask the pupils how their vacation and
Christmas celebrated, pupils shared their experiences and events during Christmas break.

Using Pangasinan as a medium of instruction in kindergarten is difficult for me if how will I used
that language in my upcoming teaching loads thinking that it was my very first time to teach lesson using
Pangasinan as my language. Observing and listening to Teacher Fe while teaching makes me post for a
moment and imagining myself teaching in front of my pupils and to her as well. What if I didn’t know the
right term for that word? What will I do? What if my pupils don’t understand the words? Then solutions
draws to my mind that a teacher should be ready at all times, going in class with knowledge and had a
background on the lesson. Oh it might bring me difficulty but I have to learn and ask my critique what are
her techniques.

This week we are scheduled to teach one subject in the morning per day, when Teacher Fe asks
me what subject is, I chose Mother tongue in meeting Time 1 because I want to challenge myself to learn
Pangasinan as a medium of teaching.

Teaching mas was not so easy since my medium of instruction is Pangasinan, then I have to
translate all the terms in pangasinan standing in front with my pupils and my critique teacher will evaluate
me makes me feel fear and nervousness. The fear of no one listens to you and that feeling if your pupils
learned from you.

In Kindergarten, when it comes to teaching and making lesson plan it is one lesson plan is good
for 1 week but different learning competencies as what I observe from teacher Fe strategic teaching. So
every day I did different assessment to cater the needs of the pupils. Before I started to teach I say all my
rules first to be followed by my pupils.

Establishing daily routine is not an easy one; it always took time to know what is the best strategy
and technique to be used in every lesson. As the week goes by, I learned more ideas, techniques on how to
become more effective teacher for the learners. You should become more creative having or delivering the
subject matter.

This week, I was enjoyed teaching the subject English because I did not used pangasinan in
teaching my lesson. But it doesn’t mean that I will not use it because there are English words that can’t
understand by my pupils so I translate it in tagalog and pangasinan. This is one of the disadvantages of
using pangasinan in teaching is when it comes to time management it is consumes more time but it is also
an overview to new lesson in other subjects since it connects to the other subject.

Everytime I don’t know the right translation of that certain word I asked Teacher Fe.It is always
difficult for me to talk to my critique because her words are limited. She don’t even give me some

techniques ideas to lesson so I am asking to my co -kindergarten practice teacher for their lesson just to
know that I teach the right term and fortunately I delivered my lessons well.

Continuing my Practice teaching this week I was assigned in afternoon first subject class of
Grade II Love but in this matter it’s hard for me catch their attention because it a holy hour for everybody
there are sleepy and some of my pupils are noisy so that I could not catch their attention by that it is not
new to me because I also experience that when I was in Elementary school. As I observe Teacher Fe she is
always ready in this time she has the authentic activity for the students and she easy to catch their
attention like games, group activity and modeling herself and manipulate by her students . So some of
the games I adopt and use for the time I also learn how to dance the basic steps of modern dance of the
students and singing like father for them.

They like when we sing and dance all of my students are participating in the whole class
discussion and at the end of the observing and teaching routine. Me and Teacher Fe is preparing the room
for the next NFOT year 2019-2020 that will held in Dagupan City, Pangasinan were cleaning the entire
room from the inside and outside. All of the practice teachers are working with cooperation of each other
and helping to make the our school Comfortable and safe for the delegates and marked to their heart they
were lives one day in the Dagupan City, Pangasinan in the School of North Central Elementary School.

We enjoy brushing and painting the wall from the first floor to the second floor we felt tired and
not knowingly we almost finish the whole ground floor of to the next floor at last we ended up with good
results of our hard work and we felt in love of the plain and simple ambiance of the colour of the North
Central Elementary School.

NARRATIVE REPORT

Practice teaching is the practical implementation of the information and strategies that students
have learned. The student teacher practice what they have learned and are supervised by teachers from the
college, cooperating teacher and school principals. The purpose of Practice Teaching is to produce
qualified teachers that are equipped and skilled in their chosen year level. Another reason is to prepare
student teachers for their career as teachers by immersing them completely into the school atmosphere so
that they will have the feel of what it would be like to be an actual teacher.
I attended the first grade classes at North Central Elementary School, which is located in the
Bonuan Gueset Dagupan Citys, one of the public schools in Dagupan City. With the new curriculum,
students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. As a result they gain a wealth of skills,
vast amounts of knowledge, and a genuine life-long love for learning. There are opportunities for students
to pursue their interests through programs and celebrating a Holiday’s In School. Children participate in
these activities based on personal interest, and are expected to balance both extracurricular activities and
academic curriculum. Some activities involve parent support, and parents are usually actively engaged
with the students either through the home or school, or both. The school also seems to strive to provide an
environment where individual attention is given to all those who need it. Each classroom seemed to
encourage an atmosphere where students were invited to share their learning and bring in personal
interests. The desks were grouped in clusters, with about 4 to 10 chairs in each row. According to the first
grade teachers in the school, first grade was as an academic and extracurricular leap for many students.

My entire practice teaching journey became more challenging and exciting because of the
students. This was another venue for me to enhance my teaching skills and to meet various people with
different personalities.

As long as we stay longer in the North Central Elementary School field we meet the different
types of people and familiarizing their names and faces Its truly ended that this school is the child friendly
school all the staff and workers are very approachable and they always wearing their brighter smile. i am
now teaching in the morning straight session i have two subjects to teach everyday including the
Mathematics, Science and Mother-Tongue Based..

Every day is a challenging day for me to survive handling their Noise and sometimes rude action
i felt losing hope to become a good teacher. I think every Practice teachers felt this thing in my morning
teaching I really enjoy the flow of my lesson and they are also enjoying my discussion all of them are
participating and doing what i was command after they recess I don’t know if its normal because most of
them are so hyper they are playful that there are times that they hurt somebody that is one my point
because I am tired of disciplining them rather than teaching them a bit reflection that maybe I need to

change something from my way of disciplining them. I search and look at the classrooms rules and
technique how to control the behavior of my students.

First thing they suggested is the hidden camera inside the classroom before I start the discussion
in the morning I inform them that I locate a hidden camera inside the room and connected to in the
principal office then the principal watching them so who might to much noisy and playful the principal
will call them into the office and bring their parents in next day. When the times i tell them that their a
hidden camera in the classroom they are all act like a sleepy one and don’t make any move so that we
could start our day with minimal noise with the free classroom from any disturbance which is very
effective way to minimal the noise in the classroom this whole week days my students are looking around
finding the hidden camera it looks crazy but at the same time it is awesome and effective.

Its February month its means we celebrate the Valentines days my students are preparing for their
cards, love letters, letter for the Family especially their parents. I encourage them to wear color red shirt
for boys and red dress for girls. It is happy to see the innocent child fall in love it is cute to see no molest
just cute. Some of my students reveal their secrets crushes to me but it keeps it secret honestly i want that
to make it as reinforcement to those who share their secrets to me I like to used it when my students are
noisy i will reveal their secrets in the class but second option to that not doing what I think because they
trust me maybe some other time if they need help they don’t tell it to me because they cannot trust me so
at the end I decided to keep quiet and remain it as a secret.

Afterwards the Yakult company come to the school to promote their product and to raise
awareness to the parents, teachers, and students the Pro-biotic a good bacteria that we need for the
everyday life all of the students are students are actively participating in the movie show some of them
are dancing and singing in the stage. Especially when the mascot of Yakult go in front and dancing the
students are nonstop to hug Yakult and say hello to him and a bit realization when I was young I like to
see the Jollibee, Barney mascot and enjoying playing with them and also I was thinking the authentic
method how I can use it in the class.

The whole week is the preparations of the Coronation in the North Central Elementary School we
practice the students in the stage. We setup the decoration in the stage and we cooperate with teachers and
assigned us in different areas for upcoming Coronation Ceremonies..

The next day the teachers and students most awaited day the coronation day my students attend
the parade and my student’s candidate wear her and his best suit and gown. At exactly 5:00 o’ clock in the
afternoon start the coronation was started the candidates are coming with the their parents and the guest
like this event it show the community, school and stakeholders relationship are strong with whole cast
participation and make this event success in the coronation.

Cleaning, eating, and monitoring the whole event it is ended that teachers and students teacher
relationship is flow in goods ways. After all the event Mrs Maricris P. Ferrer thank us because we are
there in the school to help them for all the preparation and make the event successful.

This week was our demonstration week; we need to prepare for the final demo teaching. It was
dated March 11 and it started at exactly11:00-12:00 in the morning . I was the last student teacher
demonstrate. On the spot, I had my Grade II Love my pupils during my demonstration. As I started my
topic, I felt nervous; my hands are so cold, and confused. I take a deep breath, pull my strength and little I
overcome my fear even though my demonstration is a blast..

After a few discussion, the activity and their quiz the demonstration was done. I’m so very
thankful specially to God, to all my students, to my cooperating teacher Mrs. Fe Vallo who don’t give up
giving an advice, support and guide me. I can’t do this alone without the advices of these great teachers,
Thank you very much.

I receive an excellent remark from the panellist. All of the teacher congratulates me and praise me for a
job well done. Hearing those positive comments from the panellist, I felt overwhelmed and proud to
myself that u make it. Although mother tongue is I need to execute while I am teaching at least i do my
best and exert a lot of efforts to understand every single world of the subject matter. Now I can say that
those effort and sacrifices are worth it

This week is a preparation for the submission of passing of requirements for application for
graduation.it is a very stressful week because we teach in north central elementary school at the same
time we are reporting to our school. As we comply for our requirements we are still doing our job as a
practice teacher and I teach grade II love whole day because my cooperating teacher is not around
because she have a lot of appointments.

Graduation picture at last , we scheduled our graduation picture in 4 th day of this week because on
Friday we are going have our job fair and it is a whole day event for all the graduating students who were
given a chance to apply from different companies to have a job after they graduate if they are hired.

Teacher Fe ask me to make an assessment exam for grade II pupils for 4 th grading assessment test so
that I am very busy that time because I constructed an exam for Mother Tongue
English,ESP,Filipino,Aral.Pan. and Mathematics and I need to reproduce a 35 copies each.

I start having difficulty in teaching with a hardly position I have because I am handling grade II
pupils and its very challenging because with my facial features it might be a factor to have bond a good
relationship with a kid because I have a serious face and also I am in the open classroom sitting next to
Mrs.Fe while observing the whole class.

I see the patience of Mrs.Fe because she also teach well even in the class is in the open gym it is
easy of the students to be destructed and at the same time it is near of High way you will heard the noise
of the Vehicles pass by but she make sure that all of the students is with-it-ness in her eyes And I really
admire that she spoke to me that she is thankful because I came to help her it sound pressure to me but in
the positive way Its good because aside from teaching my job there is not sit, teach and observe but with
means of help of others especially to my Class and my Critic teacher. Also though me that I will learn
from her as a mentee and a mentor basis. I am proud to say my overall experience being a student teacher
was great and fun. I realized that becoming an educator takes more lesson plan. It is multi-tasking
profession, not just limiting learning, but involving the student in the real and outside world.

I really feel the gratitude of being a student teacher who give chance to learn more and discover more
about teaching as its open my eyes to the real world of teaching it might be chaotic but it is also a
memorable one.

This three (3) days that we deployed as a Practice Teacher or an internship in North Central
Elementary School we are all got nervous and at the same time is excited because we encounter the
Principal of the school that have a good personality.She already assigned us to respective grade level that
can we handle until the end of school year of the students but before we go in our designated grade that
the principal given to us she called her office-in-charge Mrs.Louella Quitiriano to help us to go in the
grade that we will be handle.

Before I entered to the room that I assigned Mrs.Quitiriano she called my cooperating teacher that
she said that she have a prctice teacher intern.I’m very happy when I see my cooperating teacher because
fortunately my critic is my already my cooperating teacher in my field study last year so that’s why it is
not hard to me to communicate in my cooperating teacher because she was already know me.

When my cooperating teacher was teaching to their students I observe that she was teaching their
students in a easy way to understand their topics.And after her discussion of her lesson she was asking
their students if they have their not understand and after that she discussed her lesson she will now give
their students an activity to answer.And when she give the activity of their students their always their
notebook to answer.And after they finish their activity my cooperating teacher is asking me to check the
paper of their students.And after I checked their notebook my cooperating teacher.

This week is my memorable days that I deployed as a teacher intern of this year 2019 because this
week we can join to their Christmas Party celebration in the North Central Elementary School either we
only deployed to their school last week so we all really excited to this kind of program that we would
countered because we know that this is the event that awaiting as a teacher intern.My critic as me a favor
if I can handle to teach the student a short performance to the Christmas celebration in the school she ask
me to prepare a dance that involved in christmas that’s why their students can have a performance in the
stage.

I observed on this day that my cooperating teacher is really loving teacher to their students because
she buy a different toys to their students and then for the girls she give them a ponytail and a bag wallet
but for the boys she them a toy puzzle as her gifts to their students.I salute, my cooperating teacher
because even if she don’t have a money she prepared a gift for her students.I’m so happy to be part of the
celebration because all of my students was enjoying their days of exchanged their gifts to their fellow
students.

This is a memorable event of me because I became a part of their christmas party even if I did not to
join to their exchange gifts.I will treasure as a teacher intern to be part of this event of the school and I
feel welcome to all of them;parents,students,and co-teacher of my critic teacher because they all trust me
to hold the program of the classroom to give my students a different types of games and also parents so
everyone are enjoying the present of the Christmas party of the grade II-Love.

And my last day of teaching her I get her in Filipno because most of the word of Filipino is hard for them

REFLECTION

I believe reading is one of the most important aspects of education. It is the foundation for all other
knowledge to be absorbed. To me, the first step to a successful education and life is learning to read. After
that goal is accomplished, finding a way to really enjoy reading is another important factor in education. I
believe that when someone learns to enjoy reading, they will find it easier to enjoy learning in general.
From early on, reading was a hobby. The more books read the better. I wasn’t the fastest reader, and I am
still not. I like to read the words at a moderate rate to make sure I can read and still understand by just
reading the text once. I have learned that there is no right or wrong approach to teaching reading. The
real key is that as a practice teacher I need to get to know my students and their needs and find out what
approaches best fit their needs and leaning styles.
Beyond that, it is absolutely important for the teaching and for the comprehension that the texts are
interesting and attractive for the students. Besides, they have to be exactly adapted to the needs and the
insecurity of the students. In this way, they will work more effectively with the text and they will be more
motivated. And apropos of nothing, they will develop their linguistic abilities.

REFLECTION

When reflecting on this semester of student teaching, there have been so many challenges, so many
celebrations, and so much that I have learned. I have been pushed beyond my comfort zone, and I have
grown as a teacher immensely. It is hard for me to only talk about a few of the takeaways that I have
gained from this semester!
First, I have learned the importance of messing up. I know, this sounds crazy, but I have found
myself so nervous about screwing something up. I expected to always plan the perfect lesson, explain
everything perfectly, and have everything go smoothly and as planned. And let me be the first to say, this
is rarely the case. I have learned how important it is to accept that we are not perfect teachers, and neither
are our cooperating teachers! We all have things to learn, and my student teaching experience has taught
me how to learn from my mistakes rather than letting them eat away at me. I learned something from my

cooperating teacher and from the students almost every day, and being open to this and vulnerable
allowed me to grow, adapt, and think on my feet! Having these experiences is the true life of a teacher.
With being honest about my mistakes and imperfections, I was able to also form stronger connections
with the students. This is another takeaway from the semester. I have always valued forming strong
relationships with my students in order to create the best learning environment for them, but I was able to
truly see the value of this throughout the semester. I have loved getting to know each of my student’s
likes, dislike, strengths, and weaknesses. I believe that this has helped me better teach them and has made
my classroom a happier place to learn!
Finally, I have learned the importance of having an open mind. You can walk into any classroom and
see completely different environments, teaching styles, student personalities, curriculum, resources, etc. It
is so easy to have your own ways and your own approaches to teaching, disregarding anything else that
you encounter. I have learned that opening up to approaches and styles that I am not particularly used to is
beneficial to help me learn more ways that I can help my students and to also learn more about what I like
and dislike as a teacher.
