2nd Progress Report

2. This pertains to the stabbing incident that transpired at the Barangay Hall of
Cansilayan, Murcia, Negros Occidental at about 10:00 AM on November 10, 2011. The
victim was identified as Jason D. Ivler, 22 years old, single, jobless, and a resident of
Barangay Cansilayan, Murcia, Negros Occidental, while the suspect was identified as
Von Palaoto Timbuwat, 35 years old, married, jobless and a resident of No. 15, Benji
Street, Barangay Abu-abu, Murcia, Negros Occidental.

3. Please be informed that at about 4:00 PM on November 11, 2011, this


Station subjected the arrested suspect, Von Palaoto Timbuwat, was subjected to
inquest proceedings before the Inquest Prosecutor, Atty. Marcelo A. Tumbali of Negros
Occidental Provincial Prosecutor’s Office. The inquest prosecutor recommended the
filing of Frustrated Homicide against Von Palaoto Timbuwat, and issued a preliminary
disposition ordering the transfer of the custody of the suspect to the Negros Occidental
Provincial Jail. Said suspect is now under the custody of the Provincial Jail.

4. Criminal complaint for Frustrated Homicide was filed by this Station against
Von Palaoto Timbuwat before the Negros Occidental Provincial Prosecutor’s Office
docketed as INV-11-1345. Final investigation report will follow.
