Today was a dream come true! I had the opportunity to dine with my favourite
celebrity – Virat Kohli! It felt surreal to be sitting across from someone I admire
so much. He was kind, down-to-earth, and so full of life. I asked him how he deals
with pressure and failure, and he said, “Keep working hard even when no one’s
watching. That’s when true growth happens.”
📅 DAY 2
DATE: [Next day]
Dear Diary,
What a proud moment it was today! I finally won first place in the inter-school
quiz competition. I had worked so hard for this – studying day and night, revising,
and staying confident. When they announced my name as the winner, I felt a wave of
happiness and pride.
This achievement taught me that perseverance always pays off. I also learned that
it's okay to be nervous – what matters is giving your best.
Feeling accomplished,
Shaurya
📅 DAY 3
DATE:
Dear Diary,
Today I started learning to play the guitar. It was my first class and I was both
nervous and excited. Holding the guitar and strumming the first few notes made me
feel amazing. My fingers hurt a bit, but it was totally worth it.
I think I’ve found a new passion! I would definitely love to continue learning
guitar for a long time. Music feels magical.
📅 DAY 4
DATE:
Dear Diary,
Guess what? My favourite uncle came to stay with us today! We cleaned the house,
decorated his room with lights, and made his favourite food – pav bhaji. To keep
him entertained, I showed him funny videos, played board games, and even took him
out for a walk.
Spending the day with him was full of laughter, fun, and joy. It made me realise
how much I love being around family.
Full of joy,
Shaurya
📅 DAY 5
DATE:
Dear Diary,
I started reading a novel called Percy Jackson and the Olympians today. It was so
exciting that I couldn’t put it down! I got lost in the world of gods, monsters,
and magic. Every chapter ended with a cliffhanger, and I had to know what happened
next.
To finish the book in one go, I quietly sat in my room, acted busy, and even
skipped helping with chores. It was worth it!
📅 DAY 6
DATE:
Dear Diary,
Today we left for my dream destination – Kashmir! I’ve always wanted to see snow-
covered mountains and ride on a shikara. The moment we landed, I was awestruck by
the beauty of nature. The air felt so fresh, and the view looked like a postcard.
I felt so lucky and thankful. This trip was more than just a holiday – it was a
dream fulfilled!
Still in awe,
Shaurya
📅 DAY 7
DATE:
Dear Diary,
Today I tried cooking for the first time! I made Maggi noodles with veggies. I was
nervous, but surprisingly it turned out tasty. I even cleaned up the kitchen after
cooking.
I realised cooking is not that hard if you follow steps carefully. It made me feel
independent and proud. I want to try making a proper meal next time!
📅 DAY 8
DATE:
Dear Diary,
What a day! I received a surprise gift – a smartwatch I had been dreaming about for
months. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I unwrapped it. My parents had kept it a
secret and surprised me at dinner.
The joy, the surprise, and the love I felt are hard to describe. I hugged them
tightly and wore the watch proudly.
Today I got the result of my science test. I expected to score above 80, but I got
65. I was disappointed, but I know I didn’t study as well as I should have. It was
a wake-up call.
I won’t let this demotivate me. Instead, I’ve promised myself to prepare better
next time and stay focused. Lesson learnt!
📅 DAY 10
DATE:
Dear Diary,
Today was rough. I had a big argument with Krisha, my sister, over something silly.
Later at school, I ended up fighting with my best friend too. At first, I felt
angry and thought I was right in both cases.
But by evening, I felt guilty. I apologized to both of them and they forgave me. I
learnt that ego only creates distance. Saying sorry builds stronger bonds.
