SUBJECT : After Operation Report on Robbery with Homicide in Magugpo, Tagum City

I. AUTHORITY:

1. PNP Program of Action Calendar year 2014


2. Philippine National Police JABRACC, (PNP's Joint Anti bank robbery amd
Cybercrime Coordinating Committee) against bank robbery, fruad and other
related crimes.
3. Robbery is a crime under Article 293 of the Revised Penal Code of the
Philippines, as amended by Republic Act 10951.

II. MISSION:

4. To intensify its campaign against organized crime groups and criminal gang
involved in bank robbery and homicide.
5. To file charges for violation of such law to those who will be caught and
arrested.

III. DATE/TIME/PLACE COVERED:

6. On or about 9:00 O’clock in the morning of May 5, 2022 @ Barangay


Magugpo, Tagum City.

V. SYNOPSIS OF OPERATIONS:
The Philippine National Police maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety and
internal security with the active support of the community.
Serve and protect the lives and property of the populace and rights of an individual. As
servant of the public places to attain its common goal in most religious and dedicated
services towards people around us. In view of the successful mission conducted on time
and day of duties, PSINSP. JOHN MEL DUMAGUIT Tagum City Davao del Norte Police
Station 1 and its personnel pledge deeply concerned to encourage more improvement
and positive action in the implementation on campaign against the Robbery with
Homicide.That resulted to the arrest/apprehension of certain APRIL GRACE L DATAHAN,
28 years old, single, Residents of Prk 9 merville Subdivision magdum Tagum City. At
09:00am on this date this station receive a call from Mr. Reynold Diez, reported about a
robbery with homicide at BPI Bank 50 Pioneer Ave, Magugpo Poblacion l, Tagum City.
The witnesses stated at around the 10:00 o’clock in the morning a group of armed
robbers enter the bank and declared a robbery, and orders everyone to kneel down, Mr.
Edrian Dayo, 26 years old single, resident of Prk. Mencidor Magugpo East, Tagum City
refuse their demands, the robber shot him in the head and quickly leave.The victim was
arrived to Tagum Regional Medical Center Hospital but declared dead on arrival. The
name of the robber is Mr. Jay Joshua Dayondon confine to the police office of tagum.

The continuing support and mutual aid of the whole personnel likewise
showed admiration, dedicated to their assigned duties towards the attainment of its
mission and goals.

VI. RESULT OF OPERATION:

In the prosecution of robbery with homicide, the State must prove that the offender's original
intent was to commit the crime of robbery. The killing of the victim must only be incidental.
Nevertheless, the act of taking the victim's life may occur before, during, or even after the
robbery. So long as the homicide was committed by reason of or on the occasion of the
robbery, the offense committed is the special complex crime of robbery with homicide.

For this police resolution Mr. Dayondon is guilty because he is attempting the crime cases of
robbery with homicide.

VII. CRITIQUE AND OBSERVATION:

That the members of Tagum City Police Station 1 , TCPO


Headed by PSINSP JOHN MEL DUMAGUIT under the leadership of P/SSUPT CARDO DALISAY, City
Director, TCPO showed teamwork, alertness and bravery in the performance of their respective
duties, likewise loyalty to the services that outmost carried-out in the whole troops. Thus,
Officer of this TCPS1, TCPO really achieved its mission and responsibilities as law enforcers and
guardians of Peace.

VIII. RECOMMENDATION:

7. Strongly recommend that officers and personnel be awarded with


“MEDALYA NG KAGALINGAN” (PNP Efficiency Medal) to bolster their Morales as a rewards of
their devotion to Duty and loyalty to the service for lasting peace, being the members of the
Philippine National Police.
