In the last few months I noticed that I could not completely connect to Facebook on Mozilla on my desktop, I could access from my phone and other web browsers though. I tried clearing cookies, cache, etc. without improvement and just gave up. Now I'm beginning to have issues with other sites not loading completely or at all (Amazon, Yahoo, gmail). I again have tried clearing cache/cookies but its not helping. Just like with Facebook previously, I can access Amazon, Yahoo, gmail, etc on other web browsers from my desktop; just not on Mozilla.

I've been using Thunderbird for about 15 years. I just downloaded and installed V139. Thunderbird is now unusable. In the past, performance was great. Downloading email was fast and my filters moved the messages to the appropriate folders with no issues. With the current version 139, downloads take up to 5 minutes for only 4 or 5 messages. The filters run incredibly slowly. I can't scroll either the navigation pane or the preview pane or the messages pane. Version 128.11.0esr runs just fine with no issues on my other system. Both systems run Win10 at the same maintenance level. After all these years, I don't want to change email clients but if this situation doesn't resolve, I'm afraid I will have no choice but to toss Thunderbird in favor of some other solution.

How do I get back to version 128.11.0ser for this system?

For the better part of a year now I have to reinstall FireFox almost daily. It just stops opening tabs. I get a tab crashed error and the only way to get it to navigate to websites is to shut down FF and reopen it. Then at least half the time when I shut it down I get a new error that this is an old version of FF and I have to create a new profile. I'm not interested in creating a new profile. I've had this one for years and years. So then I have to use Chrome to download the FF installer again and reinstall to get it to work. I really prefer FF but it's almost unusable at this point. What is going on at Mozilla that their browser no longer works on Windows 10 or 11?

Thunderbird 138/139, Windows 11 Pro 23H2. While composing a message, after a few lines the app freezes. Both the compose window and the main TB window freeze. Only opening the Windows Task manager allows me to close them. This did not happen with earlier versions.

If I save the message every few seconds while composing I can get most of the message back and continue after restarting TB. This behavior is the same in both the normal and troubleshooting TB modes. I can't even find a crash log to send to Mozilla.

Where shall I look next?

Thank you!

I have worked with ATT and it is not on their end,the issue is only when trying to sign in to my account. I have tried uninstalling Firefox and doing a new install and issue is still there. Have done all the usual steps such as clearing cache, cookies etc. I can access on my cell phone, just not when using Firefox. This just started in the past 48 hours

Hi, I have been using Lightning Calendar for as long as I can remember. As part of an ongoing personal data security task, after having my online account hacked, I recently I moved my Calendar Data from the GMX servers to my Synology NAS, Using Caldav I can synchronise data between my Android Phone & my PC, keeping all my data private. It has been working fine for a few months so I move my Wifes calendar data over as well, and that worked great as well. However, I have now come up with a problem, sometimes if I edit an event in on my PC any changes made will not save, however, if I make changes on either my Android Phone or through my browser they do.

So, I think this is possibly an issue with Thunderbird, any suggestions please.

Stu

Note. My address book syncs and can be edited on all devices.

I've notice keyboard issues with certain sites.

Using PayPal, Firefox will not enter the sixth digit of a confirmation code. The first five numbers will enter in the boxes, the sixth momentarily enters but doesn't persist. It works on Chrome, so it's not a PC issue.

Today I was trying to enter my full name in a text field. I couldn't enter a space between my first and middle names. I tried 'Troubleshooting Mode' and it still didn't work. I could enter the details in Chrome, though.

The PayPal issue have persisted over several updates.

I'm using Firefox on Kubuntu 25.04.

I'm suddenly having to sign in to all my streaming/socials everytime I restart my PC or even update Firefox. It's annoying, and it's never happened until the last couple weeks. I have scoured the internet looking for a way to actually speak to a human being about this, to no avail. Does anyone have a phone number to an actual human being who can answer questions?

Until recently the Firefox docs described how to use the CDP-based Remote Agent at [this url](https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/remote/cdp/Usage.html), now defunct. Here is the latest archive version I can find from the end of last year: https://web.archive.org/web/20241126214503/https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/remote/cdp/Usage.html

One usage example looked like this:

% firefox --remote-debugging-port DevTools listening on ws://localhost:9222/devtools/browser/7b4e84a4-597f-4839-ac6d-c9e86d16fb83

I have tried the same but get no websocket address returned:- ``` % firefox-esr Mozilla Firefox 128.11.0esr ``` ``` % firefox-esr -h ... ... --remote-debugging-port [<port>] Start the Firefox Remote Agent,

which is a low-level remote debugging interface used for WebDriver
BiDi and CDP. Defaults to port 9222.

... ... ```

`% firefox-esr --remote-debugging-port` command exits with nothing returned

I have `remote.active-protocols` set to 3 in my Firefox prefs.

Please advise how I get the Remote Agent to return a websocket address for use with BiDi with FF 128. My OS is Debian-based Linux.

TIA

Once I visit any web site that uses HTTPS there is approximately a 90% chance it'll take seconds or even minutes to secure the connection. This never happens on other browsers as they load such pages instantaneously.

I already cleaned my data up and removed the extensions, both suspected and innocent bystanders, to no avail.

As stated in the title, I'm using Firefox 139.0.1 x64 on Windows 11 (24H2, build 26100.4061). This started happening after an automatic Firefox update, I never changed anything in my system configuration.

how does one, who's brain was hammered into a smudge during a near death episode, handle all this wonderful looking updates/changes that you have made... ? I have loved using Firefox for a long time and the new items and methods entice me to try harder. but even finding how to ask this question was hard to ferret out the passage I should look for. I'm not writing to make people feel sorry for me - it is now a fact of my life that it's not as easy as it once was. well, maybe I could handle some sympathy. but a few hints could be useful. hey! that's it. how do I cajole my own brain's app to assist not run away in fright? I find the Troubleshooting information in share data is something for my grandchildren - not me: especially in the manner it is rushed through. k ps: apologies for my grizzles but I need my brain for puzzles when I'm building trees for friends and relations in ancestry.com
