Hi,
I'm just a lowly user that happens to use Linux Ubuntu on three computers. I'm having trouble with my email client, Outlook which Thunderbird is handling 'fairly' well - but not perfectly by my standards (or desires).
I may be a small player in the big world of the internet, but I receive around 250 emails per day, and yet roughly half of them are considered "junk" as far as I'm concerned. I know the way to 'train' Thunderbird to recognize junk emails, but that is an ongoing task that consumes too much of my time.
I want to consider the emails I receive from specific websites or 'domains' (sorry, I'm very lax in knowing the proper terminology) as junk to greatly reduce the number of emails I receive from these sites.
As an example: I receive an email from "[email protected]" and have no desire to read or respond to it, yet it is in my inbox. When I click on the "junk" icon, it goes directly to my junk folder. But that just "junks" the message sent by "renewMB8w1" while many other similar messages often with the same subject matter come through with the same "SalonEvSalBoroTo.de" domain (again, sorry).
I wish to stop all emails from "SalonEvSalBoroTo.de", as well as others doing the same thing even from accessing my email. And if not, can I at least get Thunderbird to send any email from "SalonEvSalBoroTo.de" (and others doing the same thing) to the junk folder? Or better yet, to the delete folder?
Thanks for reading, and I'm sorry if I'm a very wordy person. I just hope I got my point across.
Best regards,
George Generke
