Icon Comics was an imprint of Marvel Comics that was started in 2004, with the release of Powers #1 and Kabuki #1, after both titles had moved from Image Comics. Much like the earlier imprint Epic Comics, Icon featured creator-owned properties. This imprint however was dominated by three writers, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker and Mark Millar. Almost every series has since been reprinted by Image Comics or Dark Horse Comics.
Following the end of Powers Vol 3, and Bendis' subsequent move to DC Comics, the imprint has been dormant since 2017.

A number of properties published by Icon have since been adapted for other mediums including film (Kick-Ass, Secret Service), television (Powers, Criminal, Supercrooks) and video games (Kick-Ass: The Game).
