Who is William Kamkwamba?
READING YouTube is full of funny films, strange stories and some true stories,

man and the place. in Malawi, Africa, but he had big ideas. When he was young, there
wasn't any electricity or clean water in his village. William's family
didn't have much money, so he left school when he was fourteen. He
got a job, but he went to the library in the evening and
studied science books.

One day, William found an interesting book. In it, he saw pictures of
windmills. Windmills turn in the wind and they can make electricity.
William had an idea! He started to make a windmill from wood and an
old bike. 'You're crazy!' his friends said.

My sister Valeria and I are twins. We were born
on the same day, but I’m older than her - twenty
minutes older! Some people think it’s funny when
I say that. I know it’s only a short time, but it’s
important to me! Valeria’s my best friend and we do
everything together!

A lot of people think we look exactly the same, but
we don’t think so. For example, Valeria is one
centimetre taller than me and our faces aren’t exactly
the same. Valeria’s nose is a little longer and her eyes

We’re always interested in famous twins and our
favourites are Les Twins. Their real names
and Laurent Bourgeois. They’re from France,
hip hop dancers. We love them! They always
together and sometimes they dance with other people
like Beyonce, Jay-Z and even Cirque du Soleil.
They’re really great!
Larry and Laurent look the same. They often have
same hairstyles and wear the same clothes. People
don’t usually know which is Larry and which is
Laurent, but Valeria and I know! Larry is a little taller
than Laurent and his face is a little smaller. He’s also
funnier than his brother. There are other differences,
too. Can you see any in these photos?
