inquest, prosecution, trial, judgment, and appeal
- 1 from process of filing criminal cases from police to court and the rights of the accused and victim
- 1 from the interplay and role of the components of the Philippine Criminal Justice System
- 1 from other modes of the criminal justice system including the legally recognized justice system for
cultural minorities.
• Human Rights Education - 1% = 5 items
- 2 for the bill of rights and other rights granted by the constitution
- 2 from the Statutory Rights of the accused and victims, the rights of the arrested person with and
without a warrant, detained persons deprived of liberty, and those placed under investigation
- 1 from the Universal Declaration of Human rights; children; women; prisoners; state actors and non-
state actors
• Criminal Law (RPC Book 1) 4% = 20 items
- 3 from the fundamentals of the criminal law. Characteristics, principles, enforceability, and limitations

• FUNDAMENTALS OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION AND INTELLIGENCE – 2% = 10 Items
- 3 from the principles of: Criminal Investigation; like tools of investigation; the attitude of Crime/Criminal
Investigator, kinds, and techniques of investigation; intent and motive.
- 4 from the different modes, methods, types, and techniques of gathering, collection, preservation, and
processing of information such as: Intelligence Surveillance; Informants; Cyber Investigation; etc.
- 3 from the principles, procedures, legal requirements, methods, and techniques of the following but not
limited to: arrest, raid, search; check and choke points; crime scene processing; confession, and
admission; etc.
• SPECIALIZE CRIME INVESTIGATION 1 with legal medicine 2% = 15 items
- 5 from crime scene search for each crime falling under crime against PERSONS of the Revised Penal
Code and relevant special penal laws.
- 6 about the following: types and classifications of open and closed wounds, changes in the body of the
dead person; other related and relevant forms of injury, etc.
- 4 from the evidence, testimony, and documents required to prepare and process in the filing of cases for
each specific crime falling under the revised penal code and relevant special penal laws

• SPECIALIZE CRIME INVESTIGATION 2 with interview and interrogation = 10 items


- 3 from crime scene search for each crime falling under the crime against property if the revised penal
cod and relevant special penal laws
- 4 from the evidence, testimony, and documents required to prepare and process the filing of cases for
each specific crime falling under against property of the revised penal code and relevant special penal
laws
- 3 about the interview, interrogation; symptoms of guilt; skills of the interviewer, and interrogator;
confession, admission, and deposition, etc.
• Traffic Management and Accident Investigation with Driving = 10 items
- 2 from the legal provisions of the following; registration and renewal of motor vehicles; driver’s license
and renewal; traffic signs, traffic lights, and other control devices, pavement and markings, Right of Way
Rule, etc.
- 3 from the pillars of traffic law enforcement; pillars of traffic management; traffic administration; legal
provisions on early warning devices, etc.
- 4 from the processes of traffic accident investigation, hit and run, collision and non-collision type of
accident, chain of events in an accident. Etc
• Fire Protection and Arson Investigation 3% = 15 items
- 3 from the concept of combustion
- 3 from the classification, causes, prevention, control, and extinguishments of fire.
- 2 from the organization, and mandates of the bureau of fire protection
- 3 from the revised fire code of the Philippines of 2008, it’s IRR, and the law on the destructive arson and
relevant provisions of the building code of the Philippines

arson evidence and filing of charges in court
• Vice and Drug (Education and Control) = 10 items
- 2 from vices such as but not limited to smoking, drinking alcoholic liquor; gambling; prostitution; etc.
