Research Description
This research project aims to broaden the group members’ understanding of various HR practices
and related topics. By deeply researching and analysing the contemporary topics and linking it to
the HR main function studied throughout the course. Accordingly, groups will be assigned to one
of the topics related to the HRM. Finally, Each group will be expected to enhance their
understanding of the topic by reading and analyzing additional articles, textbooks, and empirical
research and providing us with an interactive session .

Project Outline:
1. Introduce your chosen topic.
Thoroughly understanding the topic, reviewing its definitions, key concepts and types, reviewing
key principles. (you must depend on academic sources)
2. Discuss the impact of your chosen topic on organization and individuals in
the workplace. (Through highlighting the challenges and the opportunities)
By highlighting the practical significance and the impact of your topic on the workplace and the
individuals.
3. Sharing Interactive Case Studies/Examples
Providing real life example, organizational cases and personal struggles to the topic in hand
through leading a case study discussion and Sharing Quick Tips or Success Stories
4. Discuss the relationship between the chosen topic and their integration
within HRM practices.
Discuss your chosen topic by finding correlations between your chosen topic and how it relates
to any of the studied HRM functions (Job Analysis, workforce planning, Recruitment & Selection,
Training, Performance Appraisal, Compensation).
5. Recommendations and Action Planning on future implementations
(individual and organizational level) .
Provide recommendations to Egyptian organizations and working employees on how to implement/
improve/avoid your chosen topic and integrate it into organizational practices. ( i.e. This will depend
on the initial relation between you chosen topic whether its negative or positive towards organization
success).
Report requirements and formatting :
• The report should NOT be LESS than 2500 words.
• The use of external sources is a must.
• Academic References should all be recent (not older than 2021).
• All sources used must be referenced using APA referencing at the end of the report
• Font should be Times New Roman.
• Font sizes should be 12 in text and 14 for titles.
• Line spacing should be 1.5.
• All reports should start with a cover page, followed by a list of table of contents.
• All tables or diagrams (if any) should be numbered
Presentation Requirements:
• All members must present and divide work equally among group members.
• Each group will have a maximum of 50-60 minutes to present.
• Group Interaction is encouraged through; reflective exercise and self-assessment exercises
• All presentation tools and aid material are accepted

Plagiarism and collusion will be heavily penalised and may result in failure of the
assessment. Work not correctly referenced will be capped at 35%.
