Generalization
( Abstraction) “Personal Hygiene”- is how you care for your body. This practice includes bathing, washing your hands, brushing
your teeth, and more. Personal hygiene are the behaviors that must be practiced in daily life, starting from morning to
sleep time to protect our health.

The teacher will ask the learners about their idea on the following personal hygiene practices through a group discussion

Oral hygiene– Keeping your mouth, teeth and gums clean

Hair hygiene - Regularly washing and grooming hair keeps it clean, prevents dandruff, and maintains a healthy scalp.

Body Hygiene – taking a bath everyday

BENEFITS OF HAVING GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE

Regular and proper practices, such as hand washing, bathing and keeping living spaces clean, significantly reduce the
risk of transmission of harmful bacteria and viruses, such as those responsible for colds, flu and gastrointestinal
infections.
2. Promoting Health - Personal hygiene practices contribute to overall health by reducing the chances of falling sick.
Proper personal hygiene supports a strong immune system, which serves as the body’s natural defence against
