The BABSON Build Program
• Objective: Get a broader understanding of entrepreneurs, their
way of thinking and the process of entrepreneurship from a
global perspective.

• It is designed to take you inside the new venture creation


process.

• You’ll learn the steps for bringing business ideas to life,


through classes that blend entrepreneurship with experiential
learning.

• Explore different topics throughout the program, bringing


everything together in your final “Shark Tank” Pitch.

Payment Scheme
What does the fee cover?
• Occupancy at Babson Dormitories. Shared bathrooms.

• Breakfast, lunch and dinner to be provided at a Babson dining hall (One


Card)

• Sessions to be held in classrooms on Babson College campus.

• Lectures, case discussions, classroom materials.

• Welcome reception with food and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Transportation to the city of Boston for exploration.

• Transportation to a shopping excursion.

• Transportation to and from Logan Airport (one pick up & one drop off per
program).

• Attendance certificate (It’s mandatory to be present in ALL sessions)

Academic aspects

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• The course will be delivered 100% in English


• All course materials will be uploaded to Babson Canvas platform 1 month before the
beginning of the program
• All quizzes and additional coursework will be available in Bloque Neon

Assistance to class is mandatory. The submission of the certificate


depends on the class attendance and academic performance.
Academic aspects
During your time at Babson you will be assigned a final grade which will depend
on the three criteria presented in the table below:

Assignments: Individual 10%

Class Participation: Individual 20%

Final Presentation: Group* 35%

Quizzes Individual 35%

*Although the final presentation will be graded as a group, each member’s contribution
to the final deliverable may affect the grade
