Resolution Typhoon Preparation

The barangay council of Sabang, Naval, Biliran held an emergency meeting on April 1, 2022. All council members were present except for unspecified absent members. The council passed Resolution No. 061, authorizing the barangay chairman and treasurer to withdraw 10,000 pesos from the Land Bank of the Philippines branch in Naval. The funds will come from the calamity fund in the 2022 annual budget and will be used for disaster preparedness for an incoming typhoon.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BRGY CHAIRMAN AND BRGY TREASURER TO WITHDRAW FROM THE LANDBANK
OF THE PHILIPPINES NAVAL BRANCH THE AMOUNT OF TEN THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (P10,000.00) FOR THE DISATER
PREPAREDNESS EXPENSES FOR THE INCOMING TYPHOON.

WHEREAS: funds allocated for this expense is sufficient and are deposited in the barangay bank account of the Land Bank of
the Philippines, Naval Branch, and is chargeable to GENERAL FUND – CALAMITY FUND of the Annual Barangay Budget for CY
2022;

NOW THEREFORE: on motion of Hon Isagani Q. Sabondo and duly seconded by Hon. Allan C. Cezar, so be it;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED. Authorizing the Barangay Chairman and the Barangay Treasurer to withdraw from
the Land Bank of the Philippines, Naval Branch, the amount of TEN THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (P10,000.00) FOR THE
DISATER PREPAREDNESS EXPENSES FOR THE INCOMING TYPHOON.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies of the resolution to the Municipal Accounting office and other concern agencies for their
references
