pupil functioning. The online Exam Portal provides intensive tools to administer, monitor and
grade exams on-line. Online Exam portal is primary want for colleges, universities, teachers,
professors, Employees, Partners, Technicians, web site Members, the overall Public, or
anyone you would like to allow secure access to your Content. Recruiting agencies. it’s
terribly helpful for folks within the educational development of children to enhance their
instructional skills.

OBJECTIVE

The purpose of this project is to develop Online Examination System.Thisis a web based
Online Examination System which will help in conducting the Online Examination.The
Online Examination Systemproject provides a web application which will considerably
reduce the time required to give the examand know the results.This project will provide an
efficient platform both for the students and the teachers, by enabling examinations to be taken
online.
An Online Examination System is a special type of web based application where
examinations of the students can be taken in a correct and efficient manner. Online
Examination System consists of some pages of questions and the student has to write answers
or they have to select the correct answers of those questions by selecting appropriate choice.
The main purpose of designing the Online Examination System is to reduce the time of
taking examinations of the students manually. There are some advantages factors of this
system which are given below:
1. The Online Examination System reduces time of taking manual examination of
students.
2. This system will work efficiently and correctly as far as computer technology is
concerned.
3. This system will provide better security and transparency in the examination.
BACKGROUND

As the name of the project “on line Examination” suggests, the system/application has to
manage the examination for various department of an academy. So to keep the information
correct and fast, it will manage the status/information of that examination of that examination
so one can get the details of exam as per their program. Earlier it was a very time consuming
and tedious process where both students as well as university used to perform all tasks
manually be it Student Registration, Setting Question Papers ,Setting Schedules to finally
declaring the result. It was cumbersome since these details were now generated, managed and
kept in computers .It was still not that much simpler Later the
process became a lot easier when computer system were introduced and all for students becau
se they were still expected to come in person to register, appear for exam at exam center and
for all those
formalities . Now we are expected to develop an web application which converts all of these t
asks automized as well as web enabled. There are applications already working in this area
like MCSE, CCNA which conducts their examination online .I am a student of 5th sem bca
student are making this project by taking help from theses already working and tested
applications as well as making our own set of improvements. This application is coded in
java. This Software project is very much helpful to students, Examination department and
Exam controller. It stores the information about Students, Exams, Report,
Results, Student‟s details and Fee Status etc. As we know that this software project is coded
in java programming language, it is user friendly. That means this software is easy to operate.
