COMPLAINT – AFFIDAVIT

I, Rachel Macabagdoc, of legal age, Filipino, single, and a resident at Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur,
after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state:

1. I am and the same person who is the complainant in the instant case;

2. I know the victim of the incident, being my cousin and a very good friend of mine, in which why
she tells me anything considering how close we are.

3. That we grew up together since 2005 and known her for more than a couple of years. I know she
has delayed mental development as well. That might have ignited the whole situation.

4. The perpetrators strangled my cousin, with a cloth from a blanket, while she was lying down
they pulled the cloth and kicked her. Before the incident I saw them took the blanket but did not
think any of it. I saw them leave the room as well and thought it was suspicious. After being
suspicious about the two suspects’ actions I decided to see my cousin, and as I walk towards the
room there I saw her body strangled with a piece of cloth.

I executed the foregoing Complaint-Affidavit to attest to the truth of the facts stated and for the
purpose of charging the respondents, Berta Bagud Liquid and Rose Sabal Flores.
AFFIANT SAYETH NAUGHT.

SUBSCRIBED AND SWORN to before me, the undersigned prosecutor, this 5 th day of May, 2022 in the
City of Pagadian.

I hereby certify that I have personally examined the affiant and that I am convinced that I am convinced
that they voluntarily executed the foregoing affidavit and that they understood the contents thereof.
