Performance Task 1
Performance Task 1
CAVITE
Instructions: Make an Essay about the topic expressing your appreciation of the dances and the
benefit of engaging in dance.
Dancing makes my life more colorful since this is the only way I can express my feelings
and show my true inner self. It has been my soul and strength since a child. As a dancer, I
would rather have appreciation for my efforts rather than the end of result. Giving me details to
tell me what exactly you liked proves that you paid attention and as a performer, that feedback
makes it more important to improve and enhance myself than simply being told that the whole
performance was “simply magnificent”. Dance has a wonderful power to express symbol, idea,
human nature, even narrative, but some audience are not qualified to evaluate the technical
quality of a dance performances. In this regard, dance is like any other art form. For example,
One’s appreciation of a painting. It is being appreciated by several people who develop greater
knowledge, and attention to the visual elements that improves and creates a painting (like
shape, color, or size) and the context that produces the painting. Don’t be a negative critic since
it can lessen a person’s self-esteem, learn to appreciate other art forms and most importantly,
help educate and inspire others who were not yet knowledgeable in evaluating performances.
Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It has physical
and mental benefits for our health. It can improve the condition of our heart and lungs,
increased muscular strength, weight management, stronger bones and reduced risk of
osteoporosis,
better coordination, agility and flexibility, improved balance and spatial awareness, improved
general and psychological well-being and have greater self-confidence and self-esteem for
better social skills. We should guide and support those who are in need of skill and talent.
