 Hold up each flashcard in turn. Do a mime for each one to help with
understanding.
 Say the word for pupils to repeat in chorus.
 Stick the flashcards on the board to make a bubble map for holidays.
2. Activity 2:
 Pupils look at the picture. Elicit who they can see and where they are.

 Play the recording. Pupils point to the pictures when they hear the
words.
II. LESSON  Play the recording again. Pupils repeat the holiday words.

 Check understanding of new vocabulary.
 Do the chant as a class and then in groups.
 Make six groups. Give each group the relevant holiday activity. Pupils do
the chant again, standing up and miming the holiday activity when they
chant it.
4. Activity 4:
 Distribute worksheets.
 Activity 1: Pupils look at the pictures and write the words.
 Activity 2: Pupils write the sentence and draw a picture to describe the
sentence.
1. Mime a holiday activity. Pupils say the activity.
