Compact substation (Kiosk):

Description
* SIEMENS compact substation manufactured inside the factories of groups of Raban Al Safina
companies in Iraq according to license agreement from Siemens Germany to manufacture the
compact substation 8FB&8DJH and it's of first class quality and designed according IEC 62271 Part
202: High-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substation, IEC 61439 Low-voltage switchgear and
control gear assemblies and MoE D-06 for continuous satisfactory operation as continuity of supply is
of prime consideration.

* One of the features of our Kiosk is the smallest size compares with the other kiosks existing in Iraq
so it will be more suitable to install it inside the residential regions

* One of our kiosk types is half buried installation inside the ground in order to reduce the height of Kiosk
and provide more cooler environment for the it's transformer.

* Wide range of ratings & capacities as well as layouts in steel, concrete and innovative housing

* The design allows all necessary precaution for the safety of operation and maintenance personal.

* All equipments operate satisfactorily under variation of load, voltage and short circuit or other
conditions, which may occur on the system if these variations are within assigned ratings of the
apparatus. All the equipments design is to withstand the accidental short circuit.

* In general, a prefabricated substation comprises the following main components (functions):


– Enclosure;
– Distribution Transformer Compartment;
– HV and LV switchgear Compartments;
– HV and LV interconnections;
– Auxiliary equipment and circuits.

* It acts as receiving and distribution power energy in distribution system in high building, residential
areas, factory, mining, etc.
