DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Reviewing the piping packages and line checking

 Performing activities as per inspection test plan and method statement for various activities
involved in the construction of petrochemical plants, as per given project specification and
relevant International Standards and getting approvals from the client.

 Co-ordinating with client inspection department at various stages of fabrication activities

and getting approval.

 Carryout Inspections sub-contractor job/ suppliers as per specification and standards.

 Carryout Inspection works after taking relevant permits from the client and follow the
appropriate HSE Policies.

 Co-ordination with Client in clearing the system for Hydro Testing.

before commencing the work.

 Work with senior engineers to facilitate the safe execution of all project scope of work on
site.

 Monitoring for Piping materials receiving, handling and storage.

 Carrying out the piping supervision before, during and after joining operation.

 Ensure that all works are carried out as per the Project Specification, Inspection & Test
Plan. Method of Statement and as per the updated IFC Drawings.

 Monitoring release of accepted materials to construction and follow up to return the

rejected materials to supplier for the replacement.

 Implementing spool identification system.

 Ensuring that all Piping activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures
and standards.

 QA inspection and monitoring the quality for every stage of work in progress which comply
with the Clients specification.

 Submitting daily reports to QC Manager and verify QC Inspection reports and testing.

 Checking all the documents before submitting for inspection like, approved material
submittal copy, approved and latest revision of drawings, etc.

 Liaison with QC Inspectors of Client to conduct inspection to which ever scheduled

program

 Issue of non-conformance for the products non-conforming to project specifications,

drawings, International Codes and Standards .

 Auditing material receiving and issue report and their traceability.

 Supervising of cutting, fit up and welding.

 Check Materials certification and identification on receipt of materials and equipment from
vendor.

 Issue NCR for violations found during inspection

 Inspection of Piping System and confirm the same is according to P & ID and Isometric
Drawing.
