Vexatious Litigant Proceedings
To seek the consent of the Attorney General of Canada to commence an application or motion under s. 40(2) of the Federal Courts Act or s. 19.1(2) of the Tax Court of Canada Act, please send an email to [email protected] and include the following information:
- The notice of application or motion you intend to file;
- A draft of the written submissions that you intend to file; and,
- A draft consent using the following template: Word version (18 KB).
You can generally expect to receive a decision on your request within approximately 30 business days unless additional information is required, in which case counsel will contact you.

If you feel that the Department of Justice Canada has infringed (violated) or denied any of your rights under the Canadian Victims Bill of Rights (CVBR), you may file a complaint.
Our Commitment to Privacy
