EPR Compliance Solutions at the RLG/Reconomy Booth
At the heart of Circularity 2025, the Reconomy booth acted as a hub for circularity enthusiasts and industry innovators. Visitors engaged directly with our team of experts on how our unique blend of packaging EPR compliance and data management solutions is driving the circular economy forward. Key focal points included:
- Circular solutions to reduce waste
- Enhanced EPR compliance strategies
- Data-driven resource and supply chain management innovations
RLG staff were also on hand to discuss forthcoming EPR laws that cover textiles, including California’s SB 707. RLG is poised to support producers with textile EPR compliance (including data collection and reporting) and to provide Producer Responsibility Organizations with textile operational support.
To spark engagement and goodwill, attendees could also enter to win a pair of Sony LinkBuds, designed with recycled materials and plastic-free packaging to highlight sustainable product innovation.
Insights from RLG’s Roundtable on Textiles
RLG also hosted a roundtable discussion titled “The Future of Textile EPR: What’s Coming?” — a forum that brought together key stakeholders from across the textile circular value chain. Around the table were industry experts, innovators in technology, and leading brands—each playing a crucial role in ensuring that the true intent of textile EPR is realized.
The conversation began with a broad look at the evolving landscape of textile EPR, then shifted to California, exploring where the state currently stands in the regulatory process and what steps are forthcoming.
The dialogue was open and grounded, addressing both the practical challenges brands face in implementation and sharing realistic, forward-thinking strategies for adapting to upcoming requirements.
Denise Diorio McVeigh, Business Development Manager and moderator of the textile conversation, emphasized during the discussion: “Creating circular systems for textiles goes beyond compliance. It’s about securing a sustainable future for the next generation. Every solution matters.”
