Sustainability, innovation, and collaboration were front and center at SPC Impact 2025, held from April 28 to May 1 at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle. Organized by the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), this premier event gathered industry leaders, changemakers, and businesses committed to creating and implementing sustainable packaging solutions.

As a packaging EPR compliance services provider, Reverse Logistics Group (RLG) played an active role at the conference with an engaging presence, insightful presentations, and a range of networking opportunities.

RLG Expert Explores Packaging Data Collection Best Practices

One of the key highlights for RLG at SPC Impact 2025 was RLG’s presentation titled “Data Collection Best Practices: What to Collect, How to Get It, and What to Do With It.”

Delivered by Rebecca Schwartz Altholz, Business Development Manager, this session explored the complexities of collecting packaging data to achieve compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws.

During the presentation, Rebecca provided actionable insights into the dos and don’ts of data collection:

  • Common pitfalls that lead to inaccuracies and delays
  • Streamlined approaches to ensure reliable and timely packaging reports
  • Hands-on examples of tools to improve data management

The session underscored how effective packaging data collection practices can foster sustainability while simultaneously minimizing risk of being out of compliance with EPR laws.

Networking Opportunities with RLG

Rebecca, along with Les Griffith, Senior Director of Business Development, also hosted a guided networking session titled “Weighing Your Options for Packaging EPR Compliance.” This collaborative discussion invited participants to explore various methods of structuring compliance processes under EPR laws.

From multinational consumer goods businesses to local retailers, attendees were able to connect, share experiences, and exchange actionable insights.

Engaging at Booth 203

Beyond the insightful sessions, SPC Impact 2025 attendees connected with the RLG team at Booth 203. Visitors learned about RLG’s deep expertise in EPR packaging data management, including a database of over 58 million product packaging SKUs.

True to our commitment to sustainability and circularity, RLG hosted a giveaway featuring a refurbished Remarkable Tablet, a tool designed with both productivity and sustainability in mind. The giveaway drew significant interest among attendees while also highlighting the importance of reducing waste.

Along with offering support for packaging EPR compliance, RLG has over thirty years of global experience working with electronic brands under EPR laws for WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment).

Why RLG’s Expertise Matters

RLG’s participation in SPC Impact 2025 wasn’t just about delivering insightful presentations or hosting engaging networking sessions. It showcased the company’s longstanding commitment to sustainability through EPR compliance.

With growing regulatory frameworks around EPR laws for packaging, businesses are finding themselves under increasing pressure to align with legal requirements. Yet, compliance doesn’t merely mark a checkbox; it positions businesses to lead in the transition toward a more circular economy.

At RLG, we specialize in streamlining EPR compliance, ensuring businesses can confidently manage their packaging data while advancing sustainable practices. By simplifying the complex network of stakeholders, requirements, and workflows, RLG empowers businesses to achieve both regulatory compliance and environmental responsibility.

After all, as Rebecca Schwartz Altholz framed it during the presentation, “The path to circularity isn’t easy, but through collaboration, data-driven decisions, and innovative solutions, it is within reach.”

Supporting Your Sustainability Journey

RLG is committed to helping businesses of all sizes embrace sustainability, simplify compliance, and champion the principles of circularity. If your business is ready to take proactive steps toward sustainable packaging and EPR compliance, RLG is here to help.
