BigTable vs Spanner

I don't know which one Piper uses but the two are not the same, or a rename of eachother 2604:5500:7032:7800:B1E0:67D1:FDE:3D44 (talk) 05:25, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The reference says, literally, "is implemented on top of standard Google infrastructure, originally Bigtable, now Spanner". The original text had reflected my understanding of this quote. I am not an expert and therefore accept your statement about these two being unrelated, and will now change the text accordingly. Please review the new version.
