All requests to meet with the Mayor, invite the Mayor to an event, or request a Mayoral letter or proclamation from foreign government officials and dignitaries, the consular corps, the Permanent Missions to the United Nations, and international organizations should be sent to the Mayor’s Office for International Affairs.

The Office oversees the City’s Flag Policy, mayoral gifts, and presentation of the Key to the City as designated by the Mayor, as well as correspondence directed to the Mayor from a foreign government.  In addition, it provides protocol guidance and other relevant information to the public.
