Problem Description:
I have created a post called Upgrade to 24.04 - restore from Backup but none of my text appears(?). When I edit the post I see nothing in the HTML options but all my text is there when views in RAW. What do I need to add to my post to convert it to html? Thank you.

What I’ve Tried:

Hi,

I sent you a message, please check.

I looked at the post and there is no content.

If you click to edit, remove the template info, and try writing something.

Save and if there is text, you can always edit again to add in what you want.

I’ve removed some comment tags, that were hiding some text in the post.

The template you get to view & edit into your question, includes instructions (that don’t show if left behind) as the instructions coded as comments… It appears you changed text within comments, but didn’t remove the comment tags.

For example

<!--  comment1 -->
comment2

will appear as

comment2

with the comment1 not showing as it was within comment tags.

I edited your initial post and removed the <!-- --> tags around what I suspect was the detail you wanted to show. You can edit your own post and look for yourself, or correct as appropriate.
