Ever since the fairly recent discontinuation of Hexchat I’ve been on a casual search for a new irc client. I would love some recommendations of some that looks nice and fits in with the proper Ubuntu Desktop experience (gnome). I dont really need to run the server part since all I ever chat on is the Ubuntu rooms on Librechat. I should also add that I’ve never really been a fan of Pidgin. Lol.
Does anybody have any experiences you would like to share with what you use for irc clients?

Thank you. But I want to try to stay away from the terminal as much as possible. For the last few years I’ve been on a personal mission to show that you dont have to use the terminal in Linux as much as people say you do.
Although I do admit it is fun to work in the terminal, lol.
