OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this session, the
candidate would be able to:
1.) Understand the structure and
scheme of the BECE 2025
Mathematics.

2.) Minimize errors when answering


B.E.C.E mathematics questions.

3.) Understand Examiners expectations.


The structure and scheme of the BECE
2025 Mathematics Examination.

Paper 1 and 2 will be written at the same


sitting.

NOTE: Paper 2 will be written before paper

Paper 2 is essay; six questions, and
candidates are expected to answer
any four questions within 1 hour ,
for 15 marks each.
HOW TO ANSWER QUESTIONS IN THE
ANSWER BOOKLET
1. Fill all the details at the front page E.g. SCHOOL
NUMBER, NAME, INDEX NUMBER, DATE,
SIGNATURE, SUBJECT, PAPER and QUESTIONS
ANSWERED.
2. Read carefully all instructions at the front page.
3. Number all your answers well.
4. You can answer questions on the graph sheet if you will not
answer any graph work question.
Paper 1 is an Objective Test ,which

consists of 40 compulsory questions, 1

mark for each, and will lasts for 1 hour.

NOTE: Your NAME , INDEX NUMBER ,CENTRE NUMBER

1. Use ONLY the WAEC pencil provided to do all shadings on
it.
2. Re-shade ALL the pre-printed machine marks. [ index
number, center number and paper code].
3. Shade to cover the full area of the box you choose.
4. Do not write or draw on or behind the scanable

5. Use a good eraser to completely erase any answer you
