activity should meet specific criteria, including:

• Minimal impact on the environment: Ecotourism operators must ensure that their
activities do not harm the natural environment, wildlife, or local communities.
• Environmental education and awareness: This can be achieved through guided tours,
workshops, or interpretive materials.
3. Local community involvement and support: Ecotourism should benefit the
local community by providing employment opportunities, supporting local
businesses, and respecting their culture and traditions.
4. Responsible travel practices: Ecotourists should follow responsible travel
practices, such as respecting local customs, minimizing resource
consumption, and supporting conservation initiatives.
5.Small-scale and low-impact tourism: Ecotourism activities should be small-
scale and low-impact to avoid overwhelming the local environment and
communities.
