1. In the first few months of the new normal in education, Teacher Marriane was struggling
on conducting online classes. She used to be a great teacher with her visual aids and all.
She wanted to be as great as before by using online platforms as an aid to the modular
distance learning modality but she admitted she couldn’t because she was not skilled in
the use of technology.
2. It had been raining at 4 to 5 pm for almost a week. One sunny morning, Ria’s mother
told her to bring an umbrella to be safe from the rain. The girl, believing that it would
rain at a later time, assured her mother that she’s going home early so she would not
bring it anymore. To her surprise, the rain began at 3 pm.
3. Alexa caught her friend Jamie stealing from a classmate. Now Alexa must choose
between keeping her friendship with Jamie and doing the right thing.

1. Vanessa makes an art project protesting police brutality. Her art teacher loves the project
and tries to feature it in the town art show, but the country commission rejects her
project. Now Vanessa and her art teacher are going to fight for the freedom of
expression.
2. It’s the year 3030 and society is completely dependent on computers and robots. A young
boy named Domino is flying his hovering board to school when all the machine starts
attacking people due to a powerful computer virus. What will Domino do now that the
machines that are supposed to help him have turned against him?
3. Nena and Lyn were planning to buy a birthday gift for their friend, Ivy. Nena suggested
that they give the birthday girl a pair of rubber shoes which they would order from
Shoppe. Lyn, however, wanted to give a set of multi-colored paint brushes since their
friend loves painting. The two did not agree resulting to not talking to each other
anymore.
