Group 2 Session 3 BMUC Case

Fortis Healthcare was facing challenges with its outdated and decentralized IT infrastructure. Moving to the cloud would provide several benefits including on-demand scalability, centralized management, improved availability, and reduced costs. After evaluating options like SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, Microsoft Azure was selected as it would allow customizing existing applications and ensure high availability of critical systems like the hospital information system in a secure manner.

Fortis always looked for commitment and comprehensiveness in the range of the
services provided. Microsoft had significant engagements with Fortis, and were
working with them since a long time.
