27. UNDERTAKING BY THE PARENTS:

I hereby undertake that my son/ward will conform to the rules and regulations in force at present or any made hereafter by
the authorities concerned. I also undertake that, so long as my son/ward is a student of Aitchison College, he will do nothing
inside or outside the College premises that will interfere with the administration, the good name of the College and its
discipline, prestige of teachers or be a party to other anti-institutional activities. I agree and accept that the decision of the
Principal would be final in all matters regarding the applicant’s outcome from the admissions tests and subsequently his
academic performance and schooling at Aitchison College.
The College reserves the right to refuse admission to the College should it have caused to believe that the age of the boy
lies outside the recommended age criteria. This is at sole discretion of the College. If the age of boy is subsequently found
to lie outside the criteria, his place will be forfeited.
28. Any incorrect/false or misleading information given in this form will disqualify the boy from admission.

29. If it is found subsequently that any information was incorrect, false or misleading, it may result in withdrawal of the boy.

30. We do not share results of junior or prep or senior (if applicable) entrance examinations with families or third parties and
nor do we release papers. Testing is purely for the College’s benefit to determine suitable academic capabilities for interview.
This is a condition of Admission testing. No correspondence is entered into. Applications for senior H1 are treated separately and
assessed by external results and interview.
For K1 only “I further undertake that withdrawal of my son/ward from the Boarding House before 8 years will mean withdrawal from the
College.”
Boys offered boarding place in Junior School must complete 8 years of Boarding. Boys offered a boarding place in Prep. & Seni or Schools
must complete their education in boarding. Boys are not permitted to move from boarding to day boy status for any reason what so ever prior
to completion of boarding terms.

ADMISSION POLICY AND PROCESS
Aitchison College admits boys on the basis of academic and general suitability. The application process must be
completed before a boy is considered an eligible candidate. Applications may only be made for one of the two
enrollment categories (boarding or day) and not both. Entries into Junior, Prep and Senior are treated separately for
admission purposes. Age criteria is followed strictly and there are no age waivers given. A boy suspected of being over-
age will be medically assessed and an offer withdrawn should he be found over-age for his year of entry. No boy may
appear more than once in a testing cycle. An offer of admission will also be automatically withdrawn if an application,
transcript, reference or age document has been falsified in any way.

Test papers and results (Junior and Prep) are not shared and nor does the College discuss the performance of
individual applicants. This is a condition of application. The College reserves the right to offer additional places to
eligible students, at any time and at any year level, in order to reach full capacity. A boy who is offered a place in either
Junior or Prep will have completed competitive admission tests and been interviewed before a final decision is made
by the Principal. A boy seeking entry to Senior School will submit an application along with external results (when
available) from the relevant examination body. Boys who have been schooled in Lahore for more than 6 months are
ineligible to apply for a boarding place in Junior or Prep. Aitchison's boarding is on a national scale. Conditional
and limited bursaries are available to boys who qualify for admission from Baluchistan, FATA, Sindh, KPK,
Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Southern Punjab.
