Diaspora Remittance Guide – ‘01’

This is to support diaspora members aiming to remit their monthly deposits towards their
Savings Accounts and Loan repayment.

1. Apps we have integrated with to allow direct remittance to members' accounts,


eliminating the need for human intervention or forwarding of receipts..

Nala is accessible to residents of the USA, UK, and EU countries only. Download the Nala app from
either the Google Play Store or Apple Store. After registering, select the pay bill option and enter the
Sacco pay bill number 0240240. Input the account number as specified below for your transactions.
• For Monthly Deposit, Enter account number as 802xxxxxxx01
• For shares Capital, Enter account number as 800xxxxxxx01,
• For the Prime account, Enter the account number as 801xxxxxxx01,
NB: xxxxxxx is your seven-digit member number.

Poa Pay is specifically available for clients based in the USA, Canada and other European Countries.
To get started, download the Poa Pay app from the Play Store, complete the registration process, and
Click on the BillPay Icon on the top right side, Select Kenya Stima Sacco, Enter amount to Send in
Kenya Shillings, Enter your Stima Sacco Account number and Add your billing information or select
if you already have an existing account.

For Monthly Deposit, Enter account number as 802xxxxxxx01


• For shares Capital, Enter account number as 800xxxxxxx01,
• For Prime account, Enter the account number as 801xxxxxxx01,
NB: xxxxxxx is your seven-digit member number.

Send Wave is available for residents of the USA, UK, and EU countries. To utilize the service,
download the app from the Play Store or Apple Store, complete the registration process, and choose
the option to send money to a Bank Account. Select "Bank" and specify Family Bank. Input your
12-digit Sacco membership number as guided below for a seamless transaction process.
• For Monthly Deposit, Enter account number as 802xxxxxxx01

• For shares Capital, Enter account number as 800xxxxxxx01,


• For Prime account, Enter the account number as 801xxxxxxx01,
NB: xxxxxxx is your seven-digit member number.

For members with access to Safaricom Mpesa, they can send funds using Paybill numbers
0240240 or 823244 by following the steps outlined below.
• Go to M-PESA and Select Payment Services/ Lipa na M-Pesa
• Select Pay Bill and Enter 0240240 or 823244
• For Monthly Deposit, enter 802xxxxxxx01
• For Shares Capital, enter 800xxxxxxx01
• For Prime account, enter 801xxxxxxx01
NB: xxxxxxx is your seven-digit membership number.
• Enter the amount you wish to pay.
• Enter your M-PESA PIN and Confirm details are correct then press OK.

Remitly is available for residents in AUSTRALIA, UAE, USA, UK, and EU countries. To utilize the
service, download the app from the Play Store or Apple Store, complete the registration process,
choose the option to send money, select a new recipient, and choose the delivery option as Bank
deposit. Bank details to key in are:

Account name: Stima Sacco Society
Ensure to forward the receipt to [email protected] for an update to the
member's account to be done.

2. Additional Options for remittance to our Sacco bank account, where the transaction
receipt needs to be forwarded to [email protected] for updating the
member's account, include:

Wise, World Remit, Transfast, TapTap, Poapay, and Swift Transfer and bank details to use
are indicated below.
Account name: Stima Sacco Society, Account number: 01120069062600,
Bank: Cooperative Bank, Branch: Stima Plaza, Swift Code: KCOOKENA,
Branch Code: 11035.
