INTRODUCTION
Divorce rates in Malaysia have been on the rise in recent

years, reflecting changes in societal, economic, and cultural
dynamics. Factors like financial independence, urban stress,
and shifting social norms are contributing to a growing trend
where more individuals feel empowered to end unhappy
marriages`
Assalamualaikum W.BT. I bid to everyone. Today our team
will define about the hit current issues which is divorce cases
among Malaysian

CREDIBILITY We do some research about this topic on the legit website to


ensure our data are trustworthy as well as without any add-
ons from others. Basically, divorce case increases in Malaysia
have occured since the 20th century. It maybe has their own
reason for their unhappy relationship.

The interpretation of the divorce is just pressure that occurs in


a relationship from many factors that lead to having their own
life back and agreeing to separate in a legal manner.
BACKGROUND OF TOPIC
there are some factors that can lead to the divorce:

-burden living in the urban/ city

-critical missunderstanding between partner

-persue carrier/ position then family


Since the divorce cases trend are hit the top malaysian problem
CENTRAL IDEA nowadays, we must know the contributor for this issue and
justify the impact towards society and family if this issue still
occur

CHART 1 A. Description of data  Diagram 1 was taken from Tv3 Bulletin
 It shown the general divorce rate (GDR) among
muslim in Malaysia for all states
B. Analysis of data  Based on Diagram 1, states that recorded the highest
rate of change in the number of Muslim divorces are
Kedah (113.6%), Sabah (94.5%) and Perlis (83.5%).
 Meanwhile, the general divorce rate shows an upward
movement for men from 6.1 (2021) escalating to 8.7
(2022) per thousand male population aged 18 and
over who were married.
 The same trend was also recorded for females to jump
from 6.2 (2021) to 8.9 (2022) per thousand female
population aged 16 and over who were married.

CHART 2 It shows the trend of divorce cases in Malaysia (muslim and
non-muslim)

B. Analysis of data  According to the chart, divorce cases rose by


43.1 per cent in 2022 as compared to the year
before, with Muslim divorces making up the
majority.
 Furthermore, year 2020 and 2021 has the least
cases due to some circumstances forced
couples to spend time together in close
proximity without any breaks.
 However, year 2016-2018 has almost the
same rate that does not show any drastic
change

data Telenisa reports
 It shows the main factors for marriage breakdown
(divorce)
 According to the data,the main reason of divorce
including domestic violence,communication
breakdown,maintenance and also
financial + polygamy
 These data represent the percentage of each main

factor that lead to divorcement that are recorded from
year 2016 to 2019

B. Analysis of data  Throughout the seven years from 2016 to


2019, domestic violence was often the number
one or number two reason for divorces
 On the other hand, communication breakdown
and affair can be related throughout the uses
of social media for ones to express their
feelings about their partner either with public or
the third person in marriage
CONCLUSION

-both individual must have their own responsibility to ensure the

-both individual should play their role and enjoy their
relationship as a sweet and happy ever after couple
- to summarize, the most dramatically rises divorce cases in
Perak on 2022 among muslim and non muslim in Malaysia
owing to the domestic violence factors.
