Part B

Reflection related to project planning (Answers to the following

questions to be included in ‘Portfolio ‘ as reflection on planning).

Note: This section has to be prepared just after finalization of ‘Project

Proposal’.

Q1. Which activities are having maximum risk & uncertainty in the project
plan?
Ans: In my agriculture app project, the activities with the most risk and
uncertainty are likely related to security and user adoption. making sure the app
is user-friendly and meets the needs of both farmers and vendors is uncertain
because it depends on how well the app is received and used. Other risks could
involve technical challenges in developing certain features, like data
management & etc.
Q2. What are the most important activities in our project plan?
Ans: The most important activities in your project plan include developing a
secure system for farmers to sell crops to vendors, creating a user-friendly
interface for both farmers and vendors. Additionally, testing the app thoroughly
to fix any bugs and making sure the data is protected are key tasks.
Q3. Is work distribution is equal for all project group members? If not ?
What are the reasons? How we can improve work distribution?
Ans: Yes, work distribution is equal for all project group members. Each
member is assigned tasks based on their strengths, ensuring that everyone
contributes fairly to the project. This balanced approach helps the team work
efficiently. To maintain equal distribution, regular communication and task
updates are important.
Q4. Is it possible to complete the project in given time? If not what are the
reasons for it? How can we ensure that project is completed within time?
Ans: Yes, it is possible to complete the project within the given time. By
following a well-structured project plan and maintaining clear communication
among team members, you can ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule.
Q5. What extra precaution &care should be taken in executing the high
risk &uncertainty? If possible, how such risks & uncertainties can be
reduced?
Ans: To address high-risk and uncertain activities in my project, extra
precautions include implementing robust security measures, conducting
thorough testing of the app.Regularly reviewing potential risks and having a
contingency plan in place can help mitigate issues. By maintaining open
communication within the team, I can quickly identify and resolve problems,
ensuring a smoother project execution.
Q6. Can we reduce the total cost associated with the project? If yes, then
describe the ways?
Ans: Yes, the total cost associated with the project can be reduced in several
ways. Such as using open-source tools and libraries can minimize software costs
& optimizing team roles based on each member’s strengths can improve
efficiency and reduce the need for external resources, etc.
Q7. For which activities of our project plan, arrangement of resources is
not easy & convenient?
Ans: In my project plan, arranging resources may be challenging for activities
such as developing the app's security features. These tasks often require
specialized skills and knowledge, which might not be readily available within
the team.
Q8. Did we make enough provisions of extra time/ expenditure etc. to carry
out such activities?
Ans: Yes, we have made enough provisions for extra time and expenditure to
carry out these activities. By including extra time in our project schedule and
allocating additional budget for unexpected costs, we can ensure that we have
the flexibility needed to handle any challenges that arise. Regular reviews of our
progress and budget will also help us stay on track and make necessary
adjustments as needed.
Q9. Did we make enough provisions for time delays in our project activity?
In which activities there are more chances of delay?
Ans: Yes, we have made enough provisions for time delays in our project
activities. We specifically accounted for potential delays in activities such as
developing the user interface and conducting testing of app. These tasks can
take longer than expected due to the need for revisions ensuring that the app is
user- friendly.
Q10. In our project schedule which are the days of more expenditure?
What provisions we have made for availability & management of cash ?
Ans: In our project schedule, the days of more expenditure are likely to occur
during key phases such as development, user testing. These phases may require
additional resources, such as investing in tools and materials.
To manage cash availability and ensure smooth financial management, we have
made provisions such as creating a detailed budget that outlines expected costs
for each phase. We also set aside a additional fund to cover unexpected
expenses.
Q11. Any other reflection which I would like to write about planning ?
Ans: No, there are no other reflections I would like to write about planning. The
current planning process has been through and effective in addressing our
project's needs, ensuring that we are well-prepared for execution and potential
challenges.
