Case for Mr. UVW

1. Given those consideration, what are some basic factors affecting social functioning?
 Financial Constraints: Limited income impacts the family's ability to access essential
services, participate in social activities, and meet their basic needs. Financial strain can
lead to social isolation and exclusion from community events or gatherings due to lack
of resources.
 Housing Conditions: Living in a house in poor condition affects the family's social
functioning by limiting their ability to host visitors or participate in community events.
Inadequate housing may also lead to health concerns and further exacerbate social
isolation.
 Social Support Networks: Despite their challenges, the family relies on their social
support networks, including family, friends, and neighbors, for emotional and practical
support. Strong social support can mitigate the impact of socioeconomic factors on
social functioning and promote resilience within the family unit.
 Access to Education: The children's attendance at school is vital for their social
development and integration into the community. However, financial constraints may
hinder their access to educational resources and extracurricular activities, impacting
their social skills and opportunities for socialization.

Rose's education.
 Opportunity for Assistance: Seeking educational assistance is a proactive step taken by
Jocelyn to alleviate the financial burden and ensure Mary Rose's continued education. If
granted, this assistance could significantly improve Mary Rose's chances of completing
her studies successfully.

2. Where might resource/s to support Mary’s Studies?
