⚠WARNING
This device can be used by children from the age of 8 and by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience and knowledge,
provided they have the necessary supervision or instructions to use it safely and
understand the dangers involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Children
should not perform unsupervised cleaning and maintenance (EN Form Requirements).

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacities, or with a lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance (IEC Standard requirements).

⚠WARNINGS ABOUT PRODUCT USE

If an abnormal situation arises (such as a burning smell), immediately turn off
the unit and disconnect the power. Call your dealer for instructions on how to
avoid electric shock, fire, or injury.
Do not insert fingers, rods and other objects into the air inlet or outlet. This can
cause injury, as the fan may be spinning at high speeds.
Do not use flammable aerosols such as lacquer or paint near the unit. This can
cause a fire or fire
Do not operate air conditioning in locations near or around combustible gases.
The gases emitted can accumulate around the unit and cause an explosion
Do not use air conditioning in a wet room, such as a bathroom or laundry room.
Excessive exposure to water can cause a short circuit in electrical components
Do not expose your body directly to cold air for an extended period of time.
Do not allow children to play with the air conditioning. Children must be
supervised around the unit at all times.
If air conditioning is used in conjunction with burners or other heating devices,
ventilate the room well to prevent lack of oxygen.
In certain functional environments, such as kitchens, server rooms, etc., the use
of air conditioning equipment specially designed for such uses is strongly
recommended.
Safety precautions
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNINGS⏴Pag 3⏵
Turn off the device and turn off the power before cleaning. Failure to do
so may result in electric shock.
Do not clean the air conditioner with excessive amounts of water.
Do not clean the air conditioner with flammable cleaning agents. Flammable cleaning agents
can cause fire or warping.

⚠CAUTION
Turn off the air conditioning and turn off the power if you are not going to use it for a long
time.
Turn the unit off and unplug during storms.
Make sure that condensed liquids can drain from the unit without problems.
Do not operate the air conditioner with wet hands. This can cause an electric shock.
Do not use the device for any purpose other than that for which it was intended.
Do not climb on or place objects on top of the outdoor unit.
Do not allow the air conditioner to operate for long periods of time with doors or windows open,
or if the humidity is very high.

⚠ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
Only use the specified power cord. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
Keep the plug clean. Remove any dust or dirt that accumulates on or around the peg. Dirty
pegs can cause fires or electric shock.
Do not pull on the cord to disconnect the unit. Hold the plug firmly and pull it out of the
outlet. Directly pulling the cord can damage it, which can lead to fire or electric shock.
Do not modify the length of the power cord or use an extension cord to power the unit.
Do not share the power outlet with other appliances. An inadequate or insufficient power supply
can lead to fire or electric shock.
The product must be properly grounded at the time of installation, otherwise electric shock may
occur.
To do any electrical work, follow all local and national wiring rules, regulations, and the
installation manual. Connect the wires and secure them firmly to prevent external forces from
damaging the terminal. Improper electrical connections can overheat and cause fires as well as
electric shock. All electrical connections must be made according to the schematic found on the
panels of the indoor and outdoor units.
All wiring must be securely positioned so that the control panel cover can be closed properly. If
the control board cover does not close properly, this can lead to corrosion and cause the
connection points on the terminal to become hot, catch fire, or cause electric shock.
If the power supply is connected to a fixed wiring, a device must be incorporated in the latter for
disconnecting all the poles with a minimum distance of 3mm from all of them, with a leakage
current that can exceed 10 MA, and the disconnection must be incorporated into the fixed
installation in accordance with the stipulations of the wiring regulations.

TAKE NOTE OF FUSE SPECIFICATIONS

The air conditioner's printed circuit board (PCB) is designed with a fuse to protect it against
over currents.
The fuse specifications are printed on the circuit board, which can be:
Unidad interior: T3.15AL/250VAC, T5AL/250AV, T3.15AV/250VAC, T5A/250VAC,
etc.
Outdoor unit: T20A/250Vac (<=18000Btu/h units), T30A/250VAC (>18000Btu/h units)
NOTE: For units with R32 refrigerant, only the explosion-proof ceramic fuse can be used.

poorly done installation can cause water leaks, electric shock, or fires.
3. Contact an authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this unit. This
appliance must be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
4. Use only the specified accessories, parts, and pieces included for installation. The use
of non-standard parts may result in water leaks, electric shock, fire, and unit failure.
5. Install the unit in a firm location so that it can support the weight of the unit. If the
chosen location cannot support the weight of the unit, or if the installation is not done
correctly, the unit may fall and cause serious injury and damage.
6. Install the drain pipe according to the instructions in this manual. Improper drainage
can cause water damage to your home or property.
7. For units that have an auxiliary electric heater, DO NOT install the unit within 1 meter
of any combustible material.
8. Do not install the unit where it may be exposed to combustible gas leaks. If
combustible gas builds up around the unit, it can cause a fire.
9. Do not turn on the power until you have finished working.
10. When moving or relocating the air conditioner, consult with experienced maintenance
technicians about disconnecting and reinstalling the unit.
11. For more details on how to install the appliance in its stand, read the information in the
"Indoor Unit Installation" and "Outdoor Unit Installation" sections.
