Getting Started

System requirements

Required Licences:
UHDS Tool - Interface
RT 0006 - Read Km OBD /Write KM OBD
EU 0032 - Read Password, eeprom , flash OBD , Dump Tool , Read/Write TC17xx MCU in boot mode
OBD Mode

When we select required ECU (SID307,SID309,SID310 , EMS3125, EMS3155) we see available option.
Read KM
Write Km
Read EEprom
Read Flash
Read password

Read KM
This option read all values of stored km in ECU. After finish read km soft save .xml file which can be use for
dump tool.

Write Km
This option allow to change km. But not all version and models of cars give possibility to change all values.
Very important km stored in car in other modules (ABS,Dashboard) but have lower value as we want to set in
ECU.
If for example Dashboard has 123.000km then set in ECU lower value as 123.000km will be not possible.
Other fact is that not all kind ECU give possibility to change values by OBD. If After change km stay old values
then
only other solution is do it by dump tool.

Read EEprom*
Read EEprom dump by OBD

Read Flash*
Read Flash dump by OBD - it take long time 1-2h

Read password*
Read password -read password which is required for boot mode access

* This option always work in all ECU with UDS protocol. ECU with KWP protocol works only if immo is released.
If Immo is locked (for example when ECU is from donor car) option will not work
Boot Mode

All ECU Siemens EMS and SID for read/write MCU in boot mode on bench required to know Password.
Password must be first read in normal mode (not Boot). We can read password on Car or on bench.

Important !!!
All UDS ECU are possible to read password on Car or on bench (in normal mode , not Boot).

All KWP ECU are possible to read password only on car and immo must be released (mean if we have donor
ECU where immo is locked read password will be not possible).

Now when we know password from ECU we can use option TRICORE in main menu MultiECUX. We have to
select proper MCU.
Next we have to load previous read password and now we can read/write eeprom or flash.

Connection for boot mode are described in other chapters .

Dump Tool

When we need to reset km values in ECU by dump tool we need to have 2 files.
1 .xml file with actual km We get this file after . Read Km by proper ECU from Menu Renault->ECU OBD ->
SID....
2. .bin file read in boot mode .
3. Use dump tool option "Renault SID30x Dump Tool " press Set new Km. Soft ask you new km ,next xml file and
next bin file. After that it ask you for save new mod file.
4. By Boot mode please write this mod (EEprom) file to ECU.
