Introduction

Microsoft Planner is an effective task management tool that forms a part of Microsoft
365 Group. Its seamless integration with Microsoft 365 products make it a go-to app for
many Microsoft Teams users who use the platform for collaboration purposes.

Planner can be ideal for project management, marketing, product, and other teams that

How to use
Build a

Add Planner to your Teams interface. Just add it as a new tab in a needed channel

Create a set of tasks by clicking on +Add task. Here you can add different cards
with tasks

Separate tasks into buckets. It will help you structure them better and navigate
easily through tasks

For each task, you can go into detail. Add a label that will help you better categorize
your tasks and filter them.

Assign the task to the person or several people. They can be your team members as
well as employees from other departments

Set the task timeframe by choosing start and due dates

Create “Tasks templates”


If the tasks you work on have a repetitive format, you may want to create task templates to
save time on organizing them. Use the very first bucket to create templates for all types of
tasks your team might have. Then, just clone the right template, rename the task and move
it to the relevant bucket

Step 1: Install and set up the nBold app
