“Min delay”: To maintain the timeliness of data, data is sent across the
network with lowest delay, but there is no guarantee in terms of cell loss
rate.
“Max throughput”: To send maximum data, any amount of data lower than
the maximum is allowed to be sent across the network, but there are no
guarantees in terms of cell loss rate and delay.
“Max reliability”: To successfully deliver data, data is sent across the
network with lowest cell loss rate, but there is no guarantee in terms of
delay.
“Min cost”: To send data at lowest cost, the data is sent across the network
using least resources, and there are no guarantees in terms of cell loss
rate and delay.

The equipment at the network side provide Quality of Service

(QoS) guarantee according to the QoS tag in the IP packets. The
QoS tag includes IP precedence and Type of service.
