Approval of Internship Organization
Instructions:

Selection of organization is a very crucial and cautious step. Pay special attention to this
step. Make sure that the internship should be relevant to your area of specialization. It is
mandatory to get approval from your supervisor before the start of the internship.

Follow the guidelines given below for the selection of an appropriate organization for
getting internship:

⚫ You can select any bank, retail corporation, multinational company,


manufacturing concern, advertising agency, taxation firm, insurance company,
etc. that has proper departments (Accounts, Finance, Marketing, HR, or other) and
where you can gain maximum exposure relevant to your area of specialization.
⚫ You are NOT allowed to work as a freelancer (online and offline) and
in NGOs, franchises, schools, colleges, universities, software houses, and all those
organizations where you cannot learn/gain exposure according to your area of
specialization. Organization must NOT be owned campus or private campus of
VU.

Important Notes:

In case, the selected organization has proper department relevant to your area of
specialization and it is willing to accommodate/give internship to you but is hesitant in
sharing its annual reports/financial statements with you, then you should seek guidance
from your supervisor, by sending the e-mail from your VU e-mail account. You will be
guided accordingly.

You should try to work in all departments of that organization where you will get the
internship. However, you must spend your maximum training period in a department
which is relevant to your area of specialization.
