Main components
The driveline, also known as the cardan shaft, is the part that
transmits the power from the engine to the drive axles.

Conditions
The converter will automatically lock up if all of the following
conditions are true:
• If the engine speed exceeds 1500 RPM for more than 2
seconds after the last shift.
• If the B421 converter output speed (RPM) is within +/- 10% of
the engine RPM.
The converter will unlock if the engine RPM drops below 1300
RPM or shift ccontrol activates.
