Introduction
Abstract
although not an inher
Online Examinations, sometimes refeered as e-examinayions, are the
examinations conducted through the internet or in an intranet (if within the
Organization) for a remote candidate(s). Most of the Online Examinationd issue
results as the candidate finish the examination, when there is an answer processing
module also included within the system. Today, many Organizations are conducting
online examinations worldwide successfully and issue results online. There are
advantages and disadvantages in online examinations. The main advantage is that it
can be conducted for remote candidates and evaluation of answers can be fully
automated for MCQ questions and other essay type questions can be evaluated
manually or through automated system, depending on the nature of the questions
and the requirements. Also, Online Examinations can be conducted at any time and
does not incur higher cost as traditional exam scenario as there is no paper-work
involved.
An Online Examination System is used to conduct an examination or test online
in order to measure student’s academic performance. Traditionally, these
evaluations were conducted orally or through written tests using paper and pen.
With an online Examination, all these traditional elements continue to persist,
however, the mode of test-taking has changed. Instead of a physical examination
hall, students log into an online examination system through which they access the
question paper and share their answers. Evaluation and the publication of results
also happen within the system.

 Advantages Of Online Examination System

o Environment Friendly

o Reduce Labour Cost

o Reduces Overheads

o Increased Security and Privacy

o Save time, big time

o More secure, less cheating

o It’s convenient

 Disadvantages Of Online Examination System

o Challenges of tech
o Infrastructure problems
o Susceptible to cheating

2. Site-to-site:-

A site-to-site VPN is designed for multiple fixed locations to share a

single private network.

For example, offices run by the same organization can set up a secure
connection over the internet, so that their internal network behaves as if it were
one local network. This allows everyone within the organization to access
digital resources stored at any location.

Government Polytechnic , Nandurbar

This is the less commonly known kind of VPN, especially because it tends to be
corporate rather than private. Nevertheless, it is widely used. A site-to-
site configuration connects two networks. This configuration expands a network
across geographically disparate offices, or a group of offices to a data center
installation. The interconnecting link may run over a dissimilar intermediate
network, such as two IPv6 networks connected over an IPv4 network.

 Advantages of Real-time operating system:

 Easy to layout, develop and execute real-time applications under the real-
time operating system.
 The real-time working structures are extra compact, so those structures
require much less memory space.
 In a Real-time operating system, the maximum utilization of devices and systems.
 Focus on running applications and less importance to applications that are in
the queue.
 Since the size of programs is small, RTOS can also be embedded systems like
in transport and others.
 These types of systems are error-free.
 Memory allocation is best managed in these types of systems.

 Disadvantages of Real-time operating system:

 Real-time operating systems have complicated layout principles and are

very costly to develop.
 Real-time operating systems are very complex and can consume critical
CPU cycles

1. Mobile Operating System

A mobile operating system allows the user to run other different
application software on the mobile, tablets, etc. Moreover, we can say that it is a type
of operating system which is specially designed for mobiles, tablets, smartwatches,
etc. Furthermore, they are a mixture of computer OS with some additional features
for mobiles. Also, they are comparatively light and simple.

An operating system (OS) is a program that acts as an interface between the

system hardware and the user. Moreover, it handles all the interactions between the
software and the hardware. Before knowing different mobile OS, let us study some
functions of an operating system.

 Disadvantages of Android Operating systems

 Less memory storage

Android supports external storage memory but due to the small internal system
storage it is very difficult for an android user to download heavy applications
or work online with game like applications.
 Automatic closing of Apps/Games
The main drawback of Android Operating system is that large apps are
forced by OS to close and it is very annoying for the android user.
 Data connection
Android apps are processing most of the time in the background and leads
to data connection problems.
 Battery life
Android apps are processing most of the time in the background and leads
to the battery problems.

Conclusion

 An Operating System is an interface that helps a user connect and communicate

with computer hardware.
 It is an essential part of computing devices like mobiles, laptops, cameras, and
other appliances. Even some washing machines and refrigerators have them.
 Operating system manages files, processes, storage, external devices and also
monitors the device for errors.
 It also helps in maintaining security and protects the OS from destruction.
 It also works with ensuring that different jobs and processes get allocated resources
according to their requirements for a fixed amount of time-based on their
respective priorities.
