MOTION TO WITHDRAW
AS COUNSEL FOR PETITIONERS

The undersigned counsel most respectfully states that:

1. On 01 June 2020, the undersigned received, by


electronic mail, an Order of this Honorable Court
setting the marking of documentary exhibits on July
02, 2020 before the Clerk of Court;

2. On the same day, 01 June 2020, the undersigned


received information that her appointment as a
government lawyer has arrived and is ready for
acknowledgment;

3. In view of such appointment which prohibits lawyers


to engage in private practice, the undersigned is
hereby withdrawing as counsel for the petitioners
who understand the cause for the withdrawal and
whose informed consent for the same has been
obtained;

4. Through electronic channels, the undersigned


communicated to the petitioners who agreed to be
represented by ATTY. ________________ as their
new counsel for this case;

5. Recently, the undersigned has formally turned over


to the said attorney the original documents and
other papers related to the adoption of baby ABC. A
copy of the transmittal is hereto attached as Annex
“A”; and

6. The filing of this motion is not intended to delay the


proceedings, but is made in good faith with a
justifiable reason as stated above.

PRAYER

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, it is


most respectfully prayed of this Honorable Court that this
motion be favorably acted upon.
