Dear diary
Like always, today I am again sharing my whole day experience with you. I
am so happy today. It was a day of achievements and success. Our school
hosted the online essay writing competition. I was initially nervous to
participate in this competition. But my parents encouraged and motivated
me. They told me that I have the ability to write well. I am glad that I obeyed
them. I won the first prize in the essay writing competition. There were 50
participants in all. My parents also felt very proud. It was really a great
experience.

Dear diary
Today I am going to share a very touching experience. I got an opportunity to
visit an old age home. It is a kind of home for those old people who for some
reasons cannot stay with their grown-up children or those who don’t have
any family member to care for them.
I felt very emotional. Me and my friends talked with them and they shared
their experience with us. After talking, we played a lot of games with them. I
was happy that they opened up with us. Then the time came when we have
to leave them. On my way back, I was thinking that how cruel the world is ,
their own children left them. I have decided that I shall be visiting the old age
home regularly to give company to the old people living there.
