Speech Competition Rubric

This rubric evaluates presentations on a 4 point scale in several categories: body language, eye contact, speaking skills, organization, voice, and language. An excellent presentation is fluid, holds audience attention, is well organized with a clear introduction and conclusion, uses a varied voice, and has strong grammar and vocabulary. A poor presentation lacks these qualities and has issues like no movement, no eye contact, unclear structure, and multiple errors.
