Chapter 1

INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

In 1996, Lupe Hernandez, a registered nurse from Bakersfield, California,

created the first-hand sanitizer. Hernandez discovered that cleaning alcohol may

be supplied via gel so that cleaning can be done without the use of soap and

water when she was training to become a nurse. According to the World Health

Organization (WHO), "an alcohol-containing solution (liquid, gel, or foam)

developed for application to the hands to inactivate bacteria and/or temporarily

restrict their growth." Hand sanitizers first appeared in healthcare settings in 1966

and gained popularity in the early 1990s.

Hand cleaning is as important as eating. It is the best approach to staying

healthy and avoiding numerous diseases. Every day, soap has a crucial role in

removing dust, germs, and lubricants, thereby keeping good health. Soap and

water are more effective than hand sanitizer at removing some bacteria,

pesticides, and other chemical residues that linger on hands. In hospitals, hand

sanitizers are more effective when hands come into touch with pathogens but

are not dirty or oily. Other research suggests that hand sanitizers may be

effective against specific germs on moisturized hands.

Right now, we have between 10,000 and 10 million germs on our hands

(Pidot et al., 2018). The goal is to lower the disease-causing bacteria to levels

where your immune system can handle them, even though most of these germs

do not pose a threat to your health (Mehtar et al., 2018). Poor hand hygiene is

the main cause of the transmission of illnesses, according to research from the

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health

Organization (WHO). When soap and water are not accessible, hand sanitizers

are a great substitute for washing your hands with warm water and soap, which

is still the recommended method for maintaining good hand hygiene (FDA

2019). “Improved adherence to hand hygiene (i.e., hand washing or use of

alcohol-based hand rubs) has been shown to terminate outbreaks in health care

facilities, to reduce transmission of antimicrobial-resistant organisms (e.g.,

methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and reduce overall infection rates

(CDC, 2020).

According to The Good Stuff Botanicals, among the fruits we consume,

lemon is the one that has natural healing and relaxing properties that we can put

to use, and what's even more incredible is that we can get these benefits from

the lemon peel as well. Lemon peel, which is typically thrown, actually contains

enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that are vital to human health. The vitamin

content of the lemon peel is five to ten times higher than that of the lemon juice

itself which becomes the primary ingredient of Lemovera. No bad effects have

been related to lemon peel, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says

it's safe (Lang, 2019).

The proponents pursue this study because as a precaution against

COVID-19 in the global health emergency caused by COVID-19, the usage of

hand sanitizers has been mandated by numerous specialists. We want to

produce hand sanitizer made with aloe vera, lemon, and biogenic alcohol with

glycerin. In this pandemic, we also want to contribute to the community by

developing a hand sanitizer that is reasonably priced.

Business Description

Lemovera's goal is to bring moisturizing hand sanitizer to

the market at an affordable price. It is a low-cost product because,

as college students, we recognize the importance of having a

product at a reasonable price. We want customers to be able to

use our product without having to spend too much money while

still receiving a high-quality sanitizer that sanitizes and moisturizes

our hands. We want our prospective customers to enjoy the

positive and healthful benefits of our product, regardless of their

financial situation or whether they are students like us.

Business Mission/Vision

MISSION
●To produce and distribute moisturizing sanitizer that meets quality

standards and is safe and affordable.

●To contribute to economic and employee professional growth.

●To continuously improve and expand the business in the near future.

VISION

We envisions being the most widely used and recognized brand of

moisturizing sanitizer in Tanauan City Batangas, providing a safe

environment for everyone with paramount consideration to investors,

employees, and its stakeholders.

Business Objectives

The following are the required several objectives as listed

below, which reinforce one another and properly organize and

analyze the data to be gathered:

1. To assess the supply and demand for hand sanitizer.

2. To determine which of the accessible local market's

ingredients, supplies, equipment, and other resources will

be required.

3. To determine the most competitive cost and selling price.

4. To create the best suitable business organization for the enterprise.

5. To calculate the proposed business's starting capital and

assess the feasibility of the market.

6. To determine the prospective firm's economic impact on the

country's economy.

Business Name : LEMOVERA

Since lemon peel and aloe vera were the main components of the

product, the term "Lemovera" was created from those two words.

Business Logo

A brand is more than a name or a logo. It is how you

present your product to others in a unique way. It encourages

potential customers to select your product over a competitor's.

This is the Lemovera logo. Typically, it is made of lemon, which

represents one of the main ingredients in this product as well as

the name of the company. This branding will be attached to the

packaging of each bottle. The name "Lemovera '' was derived

from the words "lemon peel" and "aloe vera," which were used as

the product's primary ingredients.

Figure 1.1: Business Logo

Product Description

Hand sanitizer is now available everywhere, including

public restrooms, airports, shopping malls, and offices. Many

people now keep small, portable bottles in their purses or cars.

Although hand sanitizer is effective at eliminating germs, using it

can have negative consequences. Excessive use of hand

sanitizer can cause flaking, redness, and cracked dry skin. Using

pure alcohol is very damaging to our hands, which is why the

researchers came up with the idea of developing a moisturizing

sanitizer that is gentle on our hands and prevents them from

drying out.
Lemovera is a hand sanitizer that can moisturize dry skin

while also killing bacteria when soap and water are not available.

The name "Lemovera '' was derived from the words "lemon peel"

and "aloe vera," which were used as the product's primary

ingredients. The remaining ingredient was biogenic isopropyl

alcohol (70%) containing glycerin.

The ingredients in this product are beneficial for your skin.

● Lemon peel has a fresh smell and a unique freshness. It

can also be used to exfoliate the skin, which removes dirt and

dead skin cells and leaves the skin soft and smooth.

● Since it has calming properties and the ability to instantly

moisturize dry skin, aloe vera gel is frequently used as a

component in sanitizers.

● In addition to its appealing scent and disinfectant

properties, biogenic isopropyl alcohol (70% solution) contains

glycerin, which can hydrate the outer layer of the skin (stratum

corneum), improve skin barrier function, and provide protection

against skin irritants.

● Glycerin is a naturally occurring substance derived from

vegetable oils or animal fats. A humectant is a moisturizing

ingredient that draws water from the air and deeper layers of the

skin into the skin's surface layer. Glycerin is a moisturizer that is

used to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin, and minor

skin irritations. Emollients are chemicals that soften, moisturize,

and reduce the flaking and irritation of the skin. Glycerin is

beneficial to the skin because it acts as a humectant, which is a

substance that allows the skin to retain moisture. It can improve

skin hydration, relieve dryness, and refresh the skin's surface.

B. Location

Business Location

Lemovera is a home-based manufacturing business

located in #442 Purok 6 Pantay Bata, Tanauan City, Batangas

4232, is a strategic location near Metro Manila and the different

towns of Batangas, Laguna, and Quezon. It is a city with

commercial, industrial, and business developments, making it a

trade and industrial center, which is a perfect place to offer

Lemovera to its target market. Also, it is where the First Philippine

Industrial Park and Light and Industry Science Park III are located.

Therefore, it is near, convenient, and accessible to its customers.

C. Brief Description of the Project

History of the Business

The COVID-19 infection is currently incurable with no drugs

or vaccines, and the global infection rate is rapidly increasing. To

combat and avoid contracting COVID-19, the WHO has only

recommended preventive measures and a healthy lifestyle with a

strong immune system. The World Health Organization

recommends frequently washing your hands with alcohol-based

hand sanitizers, which are mostly made up of ethanol, isopropyl

alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide in various combinations. When

improperly handled, these preparations can be hazardous to both

human health and the environment.

Sanitizers have long been used as disinfectants to improve

hand hygiene around the world. Excessive use of alcohol-based

sanitizers causes the skin to become more sensitive, lose water

and oil, and become rough and irritated. Viruses are more likely to

enter the skin through dry, damaged skin, which can be a source

of many disease-causing microorganisms (Tachikawa, 2020).

Nature or Kind of Industry

The healthcare sector produces hand sanitizers. Businesses that offer

medical services, produce medical supplies or medications, offer medical

insurance, or in any other way help patients receive healthcare make up the
healthcare industry. With healthcare accounting for 18% of the nation's GDP in

2020, it is one of the biggest and most complicated economic sectors in the

country.

In 1966, hand sanitizers made their debut in medical environments including

hospitals and healthcare centers. The early 1990s saw the product become more

well-known. In the majority of healthcare settings, alcohol-based hand sanitizer is

more practical than washing hands with soap and water. It is often more efficient

and well-tolerated for hand antisepsis among healthcare professionals than soap

and water.

D. Statement of the Problem

You will only think of a product not when you least expect it, but when you

are eager to get it because you need it. In this moment of time, where it is very

crucial to stay healthy and hydrated, people are very much likely to grab products

that will benefit their body health, especially alcohol, and that of a hand sanitizer.

Covid-19 is an unwelcome guest that paid a visit, that the world didn’t expect, nor

the people. It has beb en living in this land for three years and killing millions of

people around the world, lowering their immune system and targeting their

crucial organs. Vaccines and different medicines, especially vitamins are being

distributed in order to prevent the disease from spreading. Moreover, the

government implemented strict health protocols, social distancing, and even

lockdowns in order to hinder the virus from mutating more. However, despite
these efforts, the dilemma that every country is facing are not yet solved.

Scientists and medical practitioners did their job in order to find solution to this

monstrous virus that the mankind couldn’t see and they all led to one conclusion-

it all lays to proper hygiene and taking care of oneself. Alcohol disinfectant and

sanitizers continue to play its role in this generation, now that the health is at

stake it even did its job beyond what people expected. Thus, providing a hand

sanitizer that people could bring whenever they go out and whatever the

circumstances, they have will indeed save people’s lives.

F. Scopes and Limitations

The study's geographic area includes Tanauan City, Batangas. The study

focuses on the consumer, who is looking for an organic hand sanitizer that

individuals can bring everywhere they go, regardless of the situation.

When the company can accept additional customers and is prepared to pursue

long-term objectives, nearby places within the given geographic area will be

recognized.

The researcher encounters some difficulties conducting surveys with their

respondents, who are inhabitants of Tanauan City, Batangas, due to the limits of

the still-active epidemic and limited access to an internet connection, which

constitutes one of the drawbacks of the research.

G. Definition of Terms

To provide thorough understanding, the following terms have been defined

throughout the study both theoretically and practically.

H. Methods and Procedure (Research Methodology and Procedure)

To meet the objectives of the study, the proponents used a researcher's

made-survey questionnaire as the main instrument in gathering the data, which

were validated by their adviser and the form and content validators. The

questionnaire was divided into four parts. The first part of the questionnaire

determined the profile of the respondents, which included age, gender, civil

status, and monthly income. The second part of the questionnaire is the

psychographic profile, which clarifies the respondent's views, habits, and

interests in further detail. In the third part of the questionnaires, you will see the

factors that will be used to assess the new product plan, which includes the 4Ps

of the marketing mix. The market acceptability would be the final component of

the questionnaire, which would be assessed at the product launch to decide if it

is a failure or a success.

In identifying the number of respondents, the researchers used the

Slovin’s Formula which resulted for them to get a total of 399 respondents.

Slovin's formula is used to calculate the minimum sample sized needed to

estimate a statistic based on an acceptable margin of error. It is computed as n =

N / (1+Ne2). Moreover, the study used probability sampling as the sampling

design in this study. Simple random Sampling is a type of probability sampling in

a type of probability sampling in which the researcher randomly selects a subset

of participants from a population that may meet the study objectives. Since the

total population of Tanauan City is quite vast, it is suggested to use the Simple

random sampling.

The subjects of the study are random people, particularly citizens of

Tanauan City, Batangas. The researchers will utilize simple random sampling to

gather the appropriate number of respondents due to the large number of

individuals who are most likely to use hand sanitizers. With this, the proponents

will target a total of 399 respondents who will participate in order for the study to

be successful.

The researchers-made survey questionnaire will be utilized in this study,

which covers questions about the profile of the respondents and the factors that

will be used to assess the Lemovera Hand Sanitizer. The draft of the

questionnaire will be sent to the adviser for feedback and comments. The

researchers will use Microsoft google form to finalize the questionnaire after

receiving a series of corrections, comments, and recommendations from the

adviser. After the adviser have approved the questionnaire, it will then be

distributed to the subject of study using google form. The researchers will

guarantee that the information acquired will be kept private and used solely for

academic purposes. The information gathered will be tallied and statistically

treated, with a statistician assisting in the interpretation of the survey results.

I. Research Design
The proponents will be dealing with survey research, one of the most

popular ways to collect data, especially for this sort of study. This study defined

the descriptive kind of research using the descriptive research methodology. Due

to the flexible nature of this method, further research may be done if significant

new problems or questions come up during the process of the study. The

researchers utilized a descriptive survey design in conducting the study.

J. Respondents of the Study including Demographic and Psychographic

Distribution

A target market is a specific group of people who you have

determined is desirable as customers. The way you define that

group will differ depending on the products and services you

provide and where you provide them, so looking at examples of

target markets can be a useful exercise. Once you've determined

which factors apply to your specific situation, you can move on to

developing a marketing strategy. (2019, Root III).

Lemovera's target market will be people aged 14 and up

who use hand sanitizer as a hand rub to remove common

pathogens (disease-causing organisms) and who are willing to

switch to a moisturizing hand sanitizer. Individuals who are most

likely to be exposed to viruses, such as those who work onsite,

drivers and vendors, students, and others, must constantly

sanitize their hands. If you don't have soap and water, this

product works well as a substitute disinfectant. The number of

respondents is computed through Slovin's formula. There will be

a total of 399 respondents, which are residents from the said City.

Demographic Segmentation

Knowing the age and gender of the respondents can help a

lot in figuring out which target market has the most money to

spend on the product.

Figure 1.2 Demographic Segmentation

Geographic Segmentation

Geographic segmentation is a straightforward and efficient

approach to targeted marketing that can provide useful

approaches to potential customers. Additionally, it contributes to

improving the effectiveness of advertising by running targeted

advertisements and building stronger connections by providing

pertinent products that enhance the user experience.

Figure 1.3. Geographic Segmentation

In this study, the proponents focused on the students and

working individuals in Tanauan City, Batangas. Due to the area's

dense urbanization, it is an objective market that is excellent for

starting a business.

Psychographic Segmentation

In psychographic segmentation, customers are divided into

groups according to how they interact with a specific business or

website. Businesses must assess how customers are reacting to

their products. Finding the most engaged users will help the
company improve its positioning and marketing strategy. What's

more, it enables companies to attain extraordinary levels of

retention and satisfaction, which leads to brand loyalty.

Customers with low involvement or who are not interested are the target

customers of the business.

Figure 1.4. Psychographic Segmentation

Due to the large number of people who may potentially become

customers, the researchers in Tanauan City, Batangas, obtained at least 399

responses from the 48 barangays. In order to calculate the number of

questionnaires that were distributed based on the complete population of

Tanauan City for the year 2020, the proponents used Slovin's approach to

generate the sample unit.

Slovin’s Formula

The formula for the computation of the distribution of questionnaires is as follow:

Where: n = number of needed respondent

N = Target number of population of Tanauan City

e= Margin error

Using the above formula:

Given:
N=193,936

e= .05

193,936 = Total population of Tanauan City Batangas

Solution

n = 193,936 / 1 +(193,936) (.05)2

n = 193,936 / 1 + 484.84

n = 193,936 485.84

N = 399. 18 Respondents / 399 Respondents

Using the historical data, Slovin's formula was used and after the

computation the proponents get total of 399 respondents.

K. RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

The research instrument used in this study is a researchers-made survey

questionnaire, which covers questions about the profile of the respondents and

the factors that will be used to assess the Lemovera Hand Sanitizer. The

research instrument was constructed base on the dependent and independent

variables in the statement of the problem. The research instrument was validated

after it was sent to the adviser for feedbacks and comments. After the response

of the adviser, the instrument was finalized.

L. Validity of the Questionnaire

In this study, the Lemovera questionnaire is validated by Mr. Andrew

Rimas, an MBA college instructor from Tanauan Institute Inc.; Mrs. Rhowena

Jimenez, an Elementary Instructor; and Mr. Isidro Enriquez, a Senior High

School Principal from Tanauan Institute Inc. The survey questionnaire has been

checked and validated by the feasibility adviser for further revisions and

improvements. Then, after being checked and having suggested revisions by

Mrs. Rhowena Jimenez, she suggested one round of revisions. Lastly, the survey

questionnaire had been validated and approved by Mr. Isidro Enriquez and Mr.

Andrew Rimas upon checking the revised questionnaire of the first validator.

M. Data Gathering Process

The primary data collection tool utilized by the proponents to achieve the study's

goals was a researcher-made survey questionnaire, which was evaluated by

their advisor before being accepted and then validated by panelists or form and

content validators. One validator made a few suggestions for modifications, and

two other validators later accepted the improved version. The study professors

have stated that the researchers ask participants for their consent in order to

collect data on the consumer population. Following the data collection, the

researchers utilized a proportional stratified random sampling procedure to pick

respondents that best reflected the target market in light of the study's goals and

features. The research adviser has authorized an informed consent form, which

will be present. The purpose of the study and the participants are described in

this document. Where it will guarantee the privacy of specific data pertaining to
the respondents and their replies. The respondents were given instructions on

how the data will be acquired during the data collection process, although they

have the ability to decline to participate in the survey. The distribution of the

survey questionnaire will begin after the respondents have given their permission

to participate. A reliability test will be conducted after a pretest with a total of 10

respondents to see how consistently a technique measures something. The

questionnaire includes demographic questions about the respondents'

backgrounds as well as essential questions that were grouped for clarity and

addressed the major goals of the study. The researchers will quickly count and

encode the data after collection. Prior to that, a table will be used to decode the

encoded data and understand it to quickly ascertain the variable's value. And, the

researchers conducted a dry run on 15 representatives in City of Sto. Tomas,

Batangas; the type of questions is closed-ended; the researchers use the Likert

scale; therefore, a reliability test is applied.

CHAPTER 2

MARKET STUDY

This chapter contains information about the logical and methodological

data of the study. This includes a general market study, target market,

competitive analysis, direct and indirect competitors, project description,

demand-supply, market share,areas geographical coverage, demand , supply ,

competitor's marketing, project's marketing program, projected sales and

contribution to the economy. The supply-demand analysis will determine whether

there is a gap that can be filled in the current market. This portion provides the

information needed to identify the potential profit margin of the business including

its pricing, advertising, and marketing strategies.

A. Market Description

The marketing section of this feasibility study will assess

the general demand for the product, the supply situation, the type

of product, and the price. These are the main things that affect

demand and the best way to market the product.

During the pandemic, market growth is expected to be

driven by increased awareness of hygiene precautions and the

need for enhanced self-protection against the COVID-19 infection

chain. Lifting lockdown restrictions, like letting offices and

businesses reopen, helps the market grow even more because

hand sanitizers are an easy and cheap way to stop the spread of

viruses through everyday contact.

A market is a gathering place for buyers and sellers to exchange products

and services. A corporation may establish a successful marketing plan by

identifying its target market. The establishment of the Lemovera Hand Sanitizer
Organization will be at #442 Purok 6 Pantay Bata, Tanauan City, Batangas 4232.

Despite the fact that it's a home-based manufacturing company, the site was

picked since there are lots of surrounding businesses that we can leverage to our

advantage. When parents pick up their kids from school, for instance, they will

see our company and be persuaded to purchase the product. Additionally, a

large number of employees from the nearby FPIP firm have been staying in the

vicinity.

Areas Geographical Coverage

Tanauan City, Batangas Province, will be the geographic area that our

company targets. According to the May 2020 census, there are 193,936 people

living in the area, which will serve as our survey's core market.

Methods of Transportation and Existing Rate of Transportation

The business is located at #442 Purok 6 Pantay Bata, Tanauan City,

Batangas. . You have to take a tricycle headed to Barangay Pantay Bata from

Tanauan Public Market. Facing the other entrance of Tanauan Victory Mall is

where you'll find the tricycle terminal. Only 27 pesos per person need to be spent

to get from Tanauan Tricycle Terminal to Barangay Pantay Bata.

Channels of Distribution and General Trade Practices

Lemovera Hand Sanitizer Company will use a direct channel to market

directly to consumers. When everything is prepared, we will begin selling our

items online. Lemovera will interact with a number of social media platforms,
such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok, which are all essentially free and

accessible to everyone. It is simple to contact potential consumers from

anywhere in Tanauan, Batangas, or the entire world. Customers may visit and

shop at Lemovera's production facility in Tanauan City, Batangas, at 442 Purok

6, Pantay Bata. A person will spread the word about a product if they are happy

with it. As a result, they'll spread the word about your product, bringing in more

customers.

B. Demand

Demand Analysis

Demand analysis is the process of analyzing a customer's

demand for a good or service. Demand analysis is used by most

businesses to figure out how to enter a market successfully and

how much profit they will need to grow.

1. Past Consumption

A forecast for the future is formed by analyzing previous consumption data

and taking into consideration projected future demands. The proponents

employed a survey questionnaire that was given to 399 samples from various

Barangays in Tanauan City, Batangas.

Market share is the percentage of a product's market share. It is thought to

be a significant indication of market competitiveness, or how well a company

performs in comparison to its competitors. A company's market share is the

percentage of a market that it controls. From 2023 to 2027, the table shows a

50% gain in market share. Here’s how to get the percentage of market share:

D. Competitors’ Marketing

"A competitor study focuses on identifying market

competitors positioned to expand on your opportunity and

separates each participant's operational strengths, substantive

weaknesses, product offers, market dominance, and missed

opportunities," said David Taffet, CEO of Petal.

The goal of competition analysis is to understand your

competitors' weaknesses and strengths in comparison to your

own and identify a market gap. A competition analysis is vital

since it will assist you in determining how to improve your

business strategy.

Direct Competitors

Direct competitors are those in your industry who provide

the same product or service as you and possibly target a similar

audience. The competition, however, does not stop with attracting

the most customers. It also keeps them around. (Memon 2021).

Two online stores compete with Lemovera right now.

These two stores sell moisturizing hand sanitizer, which

customers can buy by going to their websites and online stores on

different online platforms.

Table 2.3 Direct Competitor

Product Name Type of Product Classification

Arden and Sage Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer Online Store

Klean Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer Online Store

Mama’s Choice Moisturizing Hand Gel Online Store

BYD Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer Online Store

Indirect Competitor

The indirect competition includes competitors in your

industry that don’t necessarily provide the same service/product

as yours but can satisfy the same need (Memon 2021).

Lemovera's indirect competitors are businesses that sell alcohol-

based hand antiseptics that mostly contain isopropanol, ethanol,

n-propanol, or a mixture of these as their active ingredients. In

contrast, they offer different products, but their sanitizing

standards and capacities are the same. With that, it’s essential

that you study both direct and indirect competitors.

Table 2.4 Indirect Competitor

Product Name Type of Product Classification

Pure Protect Sanitizer Alcohol Mall

Alcogel Antibacterial hand sanitizer Mall and Store

Lysol Hand Sanitizer Mall and Store

Strengths and Weaknesses

Lemovera has a competitive advantage because it offers

high-quality products at a low price. When compared to other

sanitizer products, it will have a lower retail price. It is non-sticky

and gives off a silky feeling while keeping your hands sanitized

because it contains moisturizing and antibacterial ingredients.

Because Lemovera is new to the market, one of its flaws is that it

only comes in one size which is 50 ml and one lemon variety.

Furthermore, Lemovera lacks a strong reputation in comparison to

its competitors, who have already established themselves.

E. Project’s Marketing Program

Product
Figure 2.1. Physical Evidence- Product (Prototype)

Actual Product Appearance

Lemovera is a hand sanitizer that has a strong scent and can

also moisturize dry skin. It can also help get rid of bacteria when soap

and water are not available.

Price

According to the survey results, Lemovera bottles start at

₱19, but the price will vary depending on the cost of Lemovera

production as well as the cost of delivery. Any changes to

Lemovera's prices will be looked at to see how much customers

can spend on the product without hurting the company's bottom

line.

Pricing Strategy

The techniques and procedures used by businesses to choose

the prices they will charge for their goods and services are known as

pricing strategies. Lemovera Hand Sanitizer company will use the

competitive-based pricing strategy. The pricing of products and services

is determined by what the rivals are charging, which is known as

competition-based pricing. The phrase can be used broadly to refer to

any form of competitive strategy, including decisions on product design

and marketing, such as focusing on markets with less competition or

developing a new product specifically to compete with certain rivals.

Channels of Distribution

In order to sell directly to customers, Lemovera Hand Sanitizer

Company will utilize the direct channel. As soon as we have everything

ready, we'll start selling our products online. Lemovera will engage with

reach out to potential customers. Lemovera's manufacturing plant is

located at 442 Purok 6, Pantay Bata, Tanauan City, Batangas, where

customers may visit and make purchases. If a person has a good

experience with a product, they will tell about it. They'll therefore tell

others about your offering, which will attract additional customers.

Figure 2.2. Direct Distribution Channel

and advertise its products to customers. Through its operations,

Lemovera aims to promote economic expansion and generate job

opportunities. One of the local economic system's greatest

positive effects on people is the growth of jobs in the region. More

companies in a neighborhood may boost tax collections for local

governments, generating more money for infrastructure

improvements, school construction, and other public services that

support economic development.

all necessary documentation for termination is gathered. A

termination meeting with the employee, supervisor and

human resources officer may be scheduled in some cases.

● In discharge without cause, the employer is required to

officially notify the employee of the termination a certain

amount of time in advance. When severance pay is

necessary, it will be stated in writing.

TECHNICAL STUDY

This chapter will discuss the production and operation of the product

which includes product description, legal feasibility, production schedule, number

of operating and non- operating days, physical, plant, and equipment, production

process, waste management, and supply management.

A. Product

In addition to public facilities, airports, shopping centers, retail

establishments, and businesses, hand sanitizer is now accessible everywhere.

Nowadays, a lot of individuals keep little, portable bottles in their automobiles or

handbags. Though a hand sanitizer is good at getting rid of germs, using it might

be harmful. Use of hand sanitizer in excess might result in skin peeling, redness,

and cracked dryness. The researchers came up with the concept of creating a

moisturizing sanitizer that is kind to our hands and keeps them from drying out

because using pure alcohol is really harmful to them.

H. Raw materials

The materials and supplies required to manufacture

Lemovera moisturizing hand sanitizer are listed below. The

company will order a week's worth of materials and supplies

from its suppliers regularly for convenience. By the end of the

week, all materials and supplies received for the week are

expected to be consumed and converted into finished goods.

Furthermore, to account for suppliers and delivery, the

company will need to order a week's worth of supplies before

the manufacturing day. This ensures that supplies arrive on

time and that production does not suffer.

J. Waste Disposal

Lemovera strives to be gentle on our skin as well as the environment.

Lemovera's employees will be trained in proper waste disposal. This is to

teach them how to properly segregate waste to protect the environment from

the toxic effects of inorganic and biodegradable elements found in waste. The

majority of the waste generated by the business is biodegradable, such as

lemon and aloe vera residues, and recyclable, such as containers of the

alcohol used in the production. Every Saturday, the waste management

division of Barangay Pantay Matanda, Tanauan City, Batangas, will collect the

garbage that the business produces, which will be divided into biodegradable

and non-biodegradable materials.
