Reapret Amf

REAPRET AMF is a cationic, water-soluble liquid that provides antimicrobial properties to textiles when applied by padding, exhaust, dipping or spraying. It is effective against bacteria and durable through multiple washings. Anti-microbial finishing agent for all textile substrates and their blends

General properties

Appearance Pale yellow to light brown, clear to hazy, viscous liquid

Ionicity Cationic

pH 10 g/l Solution 5-7

Solubility in water Soluble in any ratio

Compatibility Compatible with cationic and nonionic products; avoid


the use with anionic products.

Storage stability 8 months if stored under controlled conditions: cool,


ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight in
firmly close lids to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Storage temperature should not exceed 35°C.

PROPERTIES

REAPRET AMF is a high cost effective antimicrobial agent for all textile substrates and their
blends.
REAPRET AMF can be applied by padding, exhaust, dipping and spraying methods.
REAPRET AMF is a wash-resistant antimicrobial agent that is durable to multiple home
laundering. It is effective against broad spectrum of bacteria's.
REAPRET AMF passes AATCC 100 and JIS L 1902
REAPRET AMF is also suitable for application on medical textiles like facemask, surgical
gowns and other personal protective equipment/clothing (PPE) etc.

PREPARATION OF SOLUTIONS
REAPRET AMF is very easy to be diluted in water in any concentration; Best effects are
obtained working with soft water.

DOSAGE

Padding process
Reapret AMF : 20-50 g/l
Pick-up : 65-70 %
Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
Drying : 110-120°C, 1-2 min.

Exhaust process
Reapret AMF : 2-5 %
Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
Bath Temp. : 30-40°C
Time : 15-20 mins.

NOTES :

• For application in medical textiles the dosage of the above chemical has to be optimized
depending on the weight of the fabric and (%) of pick-up.
• Concentration of the above product to be taken based on durability requirement.
• Pre-trials are recommended.
