During the first stages of this plan, many ideas popped out in our minds in planning this
business, and " KAPESUQUENOUS " was the best business idea that came up. The business
serves a variety of coffee drinks as well as flavored glutinous rice cakes (binagkat) such as
chocolate, yema, and purple yam (ube).

The essence of coffee as a satisfying drink that most people are looking for, considering
that we Filipinos consume about 2 billion cups of coffee a day according to Nestlé’s consumer
marketing.

The amount of the loan that is being requested is 200,000 pesos. The said cost will be
used for the things we need to buy for the needs of the business. We will deduct 30% of monthly
sales to pay off the loan over the course of 3 years. 

4. Description of Business
The essence of coffee as a satisfying drink that most people are looking for, considering
that we Filipinos consume about 2 billion cups of coffee a day according to Nestlé’s consumer
marketing.

The name, " KAPESUQUENOUS " is a combination of the words "coffee," which is the
primary product of the business, and ‘Pasuquin’, is the town where the business is located. This
will be a newly business coffee shop that will put up a new way of making coffee and will
provide a different and enjoyable customer service experience.
KAPESUQUENOUS will serve coffee drinks that made like macchiato and brewed coffee that
prepared in a coffee bag. The coffee drinks we sell are mixed with vanilla latte to give the
costumers creamier and tastier coffee blends that will surely love. In addition to delicious coffee
drinks, the coffee shop also provides unique flavored glutinous rice cakes (binagkat) such as
chocolate, yema, and purple yam.

KAPESUQUENOUS is a merchandising business which purchases finished and resells it


to consumers.
KAPESUQUENOUS is a privately organized coffee shop, and it is a strat up business.
The business is registered in the Department and Trade Industry in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
With the ownership shared by Rainier Joseph E. Calulot, Sherice Leigh Bulosan, winslie semana,
randolf semana, sherelyn Gervacio, loraigne sugui,lester john bulosan. The customers and the

KAPESUQUENOUS is a coffee shop committed to bringing the best in high-quality
coffee drinks in coffee bags, to empowering local farmers and their goods, to showing the
pleasing to Ilocanos lifestyle and culture, to using environmentally safe products, to increasing
employee satisfaction while delivering stable return to its shareholders, and to demonstrating
these values through its use of products.

Objectives:
1. To easily obtain higher profits while maintaining stable marketing costs.

3. To provide glutinous cakes and high-quality, unique coffee drinks that will delight all current
and potential customers.

Our customers are more interested in Pasuquin or riders who will stopover, as well as
those who enjoy coffee. The said business will be retail, and we will sell it both in-store and
online.
The business must be pleasant for the employees and show respect and care for both
customers and their families. They will receive a salary increase and have access to additional
mandated leave and benefits. The employees will be given specialized training in both the social
and technical aspects that really are crucial for business operations. This establishment will
exhibit the pleasing lifestyle and culture of the Ilocanos.
With this coffee shop business, it will provide employment opportunities for unemployed
people within the area. The business, also aim to minimize all aspects of the business's
environmental benefit, to influence other businesses and institutions to adopt environmentally

KAPESUQUENOUS will be based in a place that has a huge traffic of passers-by and
riders. The products will be affordable for everyone and worth its price. Café de Pasuquin will
also use Facebook fan page and advertisements in promoting the products and services offered
by the business, considering that it is free and easy to access. The business will be offering free
Wi-Fi internet and mobile phone charging for its customers and patrons. The business will also
offer monthly promos.

-Their target market is college students up to adults since the price maybe to
costly for some customers because there are teenagers who’d like to avail and

-They have complimentary snack such as macaroons and carrot cake but there are
times that they don’t have stocks.
-Their location is okay, but it should be improved more by providing extra table
and chairs specially when there are occasions in the town.
-Better trash bin.
-Rarely their service is slow.
-Their business is steady.

1128 Tea and Café Pasuquin Branch

-Has a wide range of both hot and cold coffee drinks that caters to their
customers.
-Most of the prices of their products is affordable. Their most sold items are milk
tea drinks and hot chocolate.
-They lack employees since there are two or three including the barista who caters
to the customers.
-The location is okay since it is near the school and other establishments but when
peak hour comes the queue is very long and may take up to 30 mins for you to get
your order.
-Since its newly opened and has affordable price, their target market are students
who have a very small budget.
-They don’t have any food to compliment the long queue.
-The taste of their drinks is sometimes bland.

-Convenience chain offering grab-&-go bites & beverages, plus assorted
newsstand items.
-Offers only 4 Hot Drinks and got a variety of other beverages you could choose
from. They also cater different meals and snacks.
-The business is steady.

Uchill Pasuquin Branch


Poblacion 1, Pasuquin, Philippines
Operating Hours: 11am to 8pm Monday to Sunday
-Has a wide range of both hot and cold drinks and snacks.
-Their target audience is for college students to adults and also for students who
wants to treat themselves a good drink since the price of their products is costly
for teenagers.
-Their food taste good but some of their meals are often out of stock.
-The place is good since it is well lit and located near schools and establishments.

The business will open its shop from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. from Monday to Sunday.
The crew will have a 30-minute preparation before the store opening to prepare the products and
to clean up the place. An hour will be used after store hours to assist in closing the store; the
dining area, the kitchen area, the tools and equipment must be cleaned before the store gets
secured.
Inventory will be held daily, before and after store hours, to ensure the availability of the
goods and supplies to support the demand of the customers. Issues and problems incurred during
the business operations will be discussed thereafter.

8. Location of Business

The shop will be located behind the Pasuquin Municipal Auditorium, just a short walk from
the plaza, schools, commercial establishments, and houses. It can be easily accessed at Jackie’s
Food Hub.
The building is leased, and the rent is 4,000 in a month.

9. Marketing Team
KAPESUQUENOUS will be a small coffee shop business in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte. They
have a two (2) general manager, three (3) supervisor, and four (4) service crews. The said
business is registered in Department of Trade Industry in Laoag City.

10. Personal Requirements


The business offers vacation trips and incentives for its employees for them to have a work-
life balance. They also have switching schedules for them to have time for themselves and
family. Weekly or monthly meetings for company growth. Provide proper recognition and offer
trainings and seminars for their career growth.

They must have a friendly and good communication, disciplined, good personality, has
initiative. For skills, they can adapt to any work environment, work under pressure, good listener
and easy to learn.
For now, we offer full time work and maybe in the future the business may accept part-time
jobs. Their salary will be 350.00 per day and it will increase yearly.

things we needed to buy for the needs of the business and also for the rent. We will deduct 30%

The owners have secured located behind the Pasuquin Municipal Auditorium, just a short
walk from the plaza, schools, commercial establishments and houses. It can be easily accessed at
Jackie’s Food Hub.
The location has a monthly rent amounting to 4,000.00, excluding all utility expenses,
through a one-year leasing contract with an option for extending. An open parking space at the
back of the commercial building is available for workers and patrons.

5. Pro-Formas
The owners have secured located behind the Pasuquin Municipal Auditorium, just a short
walk from the plaza, schools, commercial establishments and houses. It can be easily accessed at
Jackie’s Food Hub.
Disposing of waste in an environmentally-friendly manner is crucial to every business. This
includes amongst other things, collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste together
with monitoring and regulation. There will be two (2) garbage bins placed inside the store,
separately labeled as residual and recyclable. Garbage will be properly stored at a closed waste
facility in the commercial establishment after store hours until it is collected.
To prevent a large volume of solid wastes, the business will use mugs and plates in serving
coffee drinks and glutinous rice cakes. Banana leaves, paper cups and paper take-out cup
carriers, that are biodegradable wastes, will be used for take-out customers.
