INTRODUCTION

People live in a digital environment today. The internet was once a means for
knowledge sharing, but today, life would be difficult without it. The World Wide Web
connects everything, whether it is business, social engagement, or shopping.
Additionally, due to the transition in people's lifestyles from traditional to digital ways of
doing things, online shopping is becoming more and more popular. Online shopping is
the act of making a direct purchase from a seller without using a middleman, or it is the
practice of buying and selling items over the internet. Customers can choose from a wide
range of items and services through online shopping deals, which allow them to compare
them to offers from other intermediaries (Sivanesan, 2017). The way we shop has been
transformed by the internet. More and more people these days choose internet shopping

increasingly playing a significant role in the lives of many people, and why is it so
popular. We believe that choosing this topic was best especially that we are now in the

new innovation in retail also provides a plethora of business opportunities and a sizable
market. Social media is no longer only recognized as a tool for its users who use the
internet to advertise themselves as well as media that sells goods to customers is known
as an online shop. Considering the many benefits and nowadays, more people claim that
they prefer online shopping to traditional shopping due to its benefits (Singh & Kashyap,

online shopping and internet marketing. An online shop evokes the physical analogy of
buying products or services at a bricks-and-mortar retailer or shopping center; the process
is called business-to-consumer (B2C) online shopping. In the case where a business buys

In online shopping, what is advertised isn’t what the

consumer gets after purchase. You could get a lower
quality product than the one advertised. Sometimes the
description or photograph of the product might be of
something slightly different. As a result, you might end
up with an inferior-quality item.
Online shopping does not provide full customer
satisfaction as you are not allowed to check the product
physically. You cannot hold the item and look at it in
your hands, you don't always know the quality of the
product. There are many chances of wrong product
delivery.
Some items are better to buy from the real store: For
example, it's best not to buy clothing products online
because you won't be able to know whether they will
look good on you without first trying them on. You can't
feel the material, see how it fits around your waist, or
notice how it's made
Reviews are not always reliable and all the research
can't assure you of a product's quality.
In online shopping, It has a higher chance of receiving
damaged or unwanted products.

III.b Difficult to return 5 4 3 2 1

with a low-quality product and no way to return it.

process breezy, but many make it extra hard for you to
return their merchandise or get a refund.

are the one who will be Labeling, packaging, shipping,
tracking, and filling out all the proper forms.
Often the procedure is complicated and packaging and
dispatching are at your cost
If you are not satisfied with the product and you want to
return it, it will be so hard to contact the seller.

III.c Delay in delivery 5 4 3 2 1

During the big sales, e-commerce portals may take too

long to deliver the product.
Sometimes, delivery of an item takes more time than the
customer anticipated. This may occur because the
particular item needed to be shipped from a different
location or country. While ordering anything online, it
takes time to reach your destination.
In Online shopping, Even the best courier companies
and online sellers have bad days, so there is no
guarantee that you will receive your online orders on
time.
Lack of proper management of inventory can lead to
shipment delays that ultimately frustrates the customer.
Not many online shopping sites have same-day
delivery, and none of them offer the on-the-spot, take-
home advantage that a physical store does.

III.d Fraud 5 4 3 2 1

Some online stores are not legitimate.

Fake online shopping portals display some great

products on the website and attract customers to buy the
product and take advantage to them.
Missing or fake products reviews.

Filling private information in different online methods

that leads to financial theft.
Lack of security and privacy leaks.
