Notes before use

1. Don’t dissemble the digital Microscope or change the interior parts,
it can cause damage.
2. Don’t clean the Microscope with alcohol organic solvents
3. Don’t touch the lens with your fingers.
4. Avoid outdoor use if possible.
5. Storage temperature , 0°C ~ 40°C,Humidity:45%RH ~ 85RH%.
6. In case the product gets wet, leave PC connection immediately. And do not dissemble or dry
by hair dryer. Send to repair center if the digit microscope was effected by liquid or other
elements.
7. Measurement Data only for reference.

How to install the Driver

The Digital Microscope is a free Driver Product，it can be worked immediately after connected to
the computer with operation system above win2000 version.

1. Connect the Portable digital microscope by USB2.0 cable to your computer, double click “my
computer” icon on your computer desktop, below interface will be shown up.

2. Double click the Video device icon as above red marked in your computer. Now it is ready to
use.
If you can’t find the Video device, or if your computer can’t recognize it,
Please follow below steps to install the driver.

Insert the attached CD, open “My Computer”, and double click the “DVD/CD Driver” to open the
CD.

Driver installation
Choose and install the Driver, then reset the computer

Reset the computer after driver installation at once;
Installation may be blocked by the antivirus software, so let the antivirus software allow all
processes, or close the antivirus before installing. If installation succeeds, you can see the
icon on the Toolbar, also the software desktop icon, double click to run it.

Now you can use the microscope. Long press the SNAP button on the microscope to take
images, and the ZOOM button to have digital zoom function.

Measurement installation
Choose and install the Measurement

Click “Finish” and the installation completes.

Microsoft .NET Framework installation

If the PC is Windows XP or older version, .Net Framework 4.0 is needed. Install it.

After the installation completes, double click at computer desktop to start using the
software.

Choose the Image resolution from 320*240 to 1600*1200, default at VGA Mode640*480

Click To use measurement function.

Click start calibration make sure certain accuracy.
Our experience told us that measurement could be controlled at 99% high precision. Measure
tolerance could be caused from human eye distortion and defocus. More practice is helpful to
measurements.

FAQ
*Buttons doesn’t working.
There are 2 points should pay for attention to if buttons doesn’t work.
1, the button is only working for the driver, but it’s not working for measuring software.
2. Be sure to follow the instructions or user manual when the driver is installing,
There must be no interception or block by anti-virus software when installing .Otherwise, there
must be something wrong happened later on.
When the anti-virus software jump out of the "select" tips, all must be chose to "allow", if not
chosen or late, anti-virus software will default stop or block it , there will be abnormal results
happended later on.
After the installation, you must restart the computer. Other restart methods may cause
abnormal function.
Once it's blocked by the anti-virus software in the computer, the only way is to find it and
release it from the blacklist list of anti-virus software in your computer, and mark the software
"trust". Or completely delete anti-virus software, this software can then return to normal. If
buttons still doesn’t work, you can also uninstall this software, re-connect the microscope, and
then install and do it according to the correct operating procedures of user manual.
*The driver or measurement soft is failed or it doesn’t working after installation is
completed.
First of all, please make sure your system is fully functional or at least better than Windows
2000 version, and make sure the EXE program will be running without problem..
Second, your system may lack of the net framework system components, the CD comes
with system components, please install.
Third, if your system is 64-digit, Win8, Win10, due to the security of the system has been
improved, so the software is required to be authorized and to set up a compatible mode, and
thus can lead to normal installation and normal running of system in your computer . Setting as
shown below:

*The roller in the microscope can not be rotated.
The roller has turned to an end, and it can not be forced to the wrong direction. so please
turn the roller to the ZOOM key and use the point to turn around.
*No computer CD-ROM, unable to open the CD.
Click website: down.unimakes.com , download it from the product model you ordered。You
can use it by the extract software to extract a folder .
*Don’t know how to use it.
Before you buy this product, you have known that this product will require the operation of the
computer to use, so the basic operation and knowledge of the computer is required for you.
Otherwise, please ask someone else to help you use it. At the beginning of the use, please
read carefully the instructions and the user's manual in the CD.
*Although I have done it according to the instructions of all the corresponding operation,
USB microscope is still doesn’t working in computer.
Please change to another computer, try again, because now there are too many computer
system versions, some of which have been changed, some of the version of the system function
is not reliable, there will be some unpredictable problems. So we also suggest that we use the
genuine Windows system. It may also be blocked or be listed as blacklist by anti-virus software
in your computer system. unless it is released from the anti-virus software, otherwise you must
completely delete anti-virus softwares in your computer. We know, there are too many anti-virus
softwares, but so few reliable and good anti-virus softwares.
*The driver is installed successfully, but there is no response to the microscope.the
display of screen of driver software is strange.
Driver software AMCAP menu "device" should be selected as the microscope GL CAM. The
reason is that there are other camera device in the computer before, other camera device was
setted as the default device by this driver software, so it is necessary to set up here.
*Measurement software "Measurement" display is not normal.
Set the system subject to the “Aero” theme, as shown in the following photo:
